Missing House Industrial Age

I upgraded to the industrial age today, before I did so I saw that one of the buildings to become unlocked was an extra house. However after upgrading I was unable to build it. I have the starter pack, is this an incompatibility issue with the starter pack stopping me from getting an extra house. Thanks for your time and attention Endril

I noticed the same thing. The only reason I upgraded so early was to get extra house.

That sounds like a bug. Can you submit a CS report please? We'll need to know how many houses you had before, etc. Thanks!

I had the same issue, but I upgraded to Industrial a day or two after it was released. It took a few hours but was finally able to build it. Was like the server was slow to show I upgraded to Industrial.

A lot of the guys in my alliance pointed that out. I noticed to when I realized that we got an additional house with every other age. We were supposed to get one more with the Industrial Age but it was not available. I'm guessing someone over at the development team forgot to included it. Even though it clearly said it came with the upgrade.

CS contacted me. If you purchased the starter pack you are not eligible for the industrial home.

Thanks Will! I was getting confirmation from Design as well. Players who purchase the Starter Pack are unlocking the Industrial Age house earlier to give their budding civilization a few helping hands. Players who haven’t purchased the Starter Pack will gain access to a new house at the Store in Industrial Age. Every area of the game is accessible to players as they advance in age, regardless of whether they invest real money into it or not.

this is not what was advertised when i bought the starter pack. i didn't buy early access to a house, i bought an extra house and some crowns.

Lawyers would argue that a free house was promised, not an extra house. Considering with IA the house would.cost gold or crowns we did indeed get our free house with the 1200 crowns we bought.

Have to agree with Kroyon! You get 1,200 crowns for $9.99 and a free house to make things easier early on! Bought that first thing when I started! Saves you 5m gold! (I assume that's the price since EA house costs 3m). Either way, it saves you a ton of grinding for 2 extra people lol ^~^
