I upgraded to the industrial age today, before I did so I saw that one of the buildings to become unlocked was an extra house. However after upgrading I was unable to build it. I have the starter pack, is this an incompatibility issue with the starter pack stopping me from getting an extra house. Thanks for your time and attention Endril

Yeah, an extra house for early ages. You're not suppose to have that house until the industrial age, so you got it in the early ages by buying it. Just like any other offer, it disappears once you unlock it through normal gameplay. Thus, once you reached the IA(speaking in terms of you not buying the starter pack) and payed 5m gold for that house, the offer would vanish since you acquired it.

If they wanted to be fair with themselves they could've just charged you $25 for the 1,200 crowns and the 1,800 crowns it would cost(roughly) to gain the 5m in gold for the house. Just be happy you only paid $10 c;

People need to learn to read, SMH.

EXTRA
adjective
1. Added to an existing or usual amount or number.
"an extra thirty-five cents an hour"

FREE
adverb
1. Without cost or payment.
"ladies were admitted free"

I want the extra house, that I paid for.

look, if they said early access to a house, i still would have bought the starter pack. and yes, it was a great bonus up until they took it away, I'm not arguing that.

my point is Nexon/BHG sold us an EXTRA house, and then at some point later decided that they no longer wanted to let us have that extra house that it's customers purchased. this is blatant bait & switch and a despicable business practice. they shouldn't have done this and they should be ashamed of themselves.

where did it say this "for early ages"? as far as I'm aware it just said "extra" and that implies a permanent extra house, not early access to a house.

No, I am not getting involved into this again )))
If your complaints bring more houses for everybody, you do good :). But what you ask for is paid advantage lasting forever not gonna happen.

well, that's what they sold me, a paid advantage that was advertised to last forever.

i don't see anything wrong with giving those who pay money a permanent advantage in the game.

Well, it is wrong game design and it never happens even in pay to win games like this one. If you understand these games a bit, you would know that for the money you get some time boost, nothing else. Free players can get the same with their time investments. Even on the extra-house page it was written 'get a starting boost' what means that IA is not a start of the game but the end game, so boost expired. But this is what you pretent not to read.

youll get your refund as soon as they downgrade all of the buildings you used those extra 2 workers to build.

i personally hate it when games offer special advantages to those that have the deepest pockets. i bought a starterpack and have now issues with it being an early industrial age house, its definatly helped me advance faster than it otherwise would have. the only way youd have a case to complain is if you bought it at the end of EA, if not, suck it up it was only 10 dollars

Yeah I call bullshit on this and have to agree with Gambrinus. It was very clear that I would have another house above what is normally accessible.

it obvious that we have 2 views on this. those that believe extra mean extra, and those that believe it mean early access. i don't think that either side will ever see the others point of view.

Agreed, once again. I hate to make in app purchases. This was the first I made, and the reason I made it was that it stated that it would be an *extra* house. I didn't think the house would be available otherwise, so I thought it was a substantial benefit. Had it stated that I would be unlocking the right to build the house early, I wouldn't have made the purchase. (I didn't pay for the cannons, airstrip, etc…)

I bought the house after reading the forums and finding out that it was in addition to what you could earn from the game. At no point in game or on these forums was it EVER communicated that the house you bought was in fact an unreleased house in the IA. I feel deceived. Every fact that I could have possibly obtained at the time pointed to it being a permanent EXTRA house. Now the rules changed.
