wasn't i supposed to get the ability to build an extra house when i reached IA? I'm pretty sure it was listed in the buildings that would be unlocked, but it never showed up in the store.

This topic was covered recently in great depth and gnashing of teeth - basically you got your IA house in the Starter Pack you bought months ago.

okay, i searched the forums for "house" and nothing came up, so i must have missed that post. that's a pretty raw deal to cheat us out of that house we should get upon IA.

so does this mean that i get my $10 back that i spent for the starter pack that promised me a free house? I'm pretty sure it said i get one extra house, and not that i get to build my IA house early.

okay, i read those threads, but there is no good resolution for customers who bought an extra house.

the deal was buy the starter pack, and that includes 1 extra house and 1200 crowns. let's be clear, i did not buy a stack of crowns with early access to a house, which it seems like some in the other threads had implied.

Congratulations on your purchase of 1200 crowns and early access to your IA house.

Now stop tweaking Santa's nose and go play.

I agree. Industrial Age didn't exist back back then when we bought the Starter Pack - the Nexon Master Spreadsheet probably shows folk pay more when upgrades get longer, so we got a Worker nerf by the backdoor.

nobody likes the feeling of being conned. to me it seem like just another tactic from BHG/Nexon to change the game dynamics to get users to buy more crowns.

Leaving players feeling they've been conned is a knock on effect of trying to fix a bigger problem.

And the bigger problem is they have to slow people down from reaching the end of IA before Global is finished. The upgrade times of IA seem to suggest an extra two workers should have been available to keep things chugging along merrily.

They had plenty of data from players being stuck at max EA for so long that people just left the game, so they rushed out IA with all it's problems - max IA bases appearing overnight being one of them.

The Master Design Doc probably reckons on 4 months play to get through IA - the time period to get Global ready. Even pay2win players are probably penciled in at $100 a day - only a lunatic would spend $10,000 in 6 hours maxing a computer game.

But they got a 'plethora' of hacks and cheats which need fixing. Global to finish and test, balancing the current game.

Basically they have to get Global release perfect or this game is finished - nerfing your workers gives them more time.
