missing stars in ww fights

in ww multiple people report that they perform a 5* attack and when it concludes normally, the game reports the attack as 2* or 3*.
is this a new thing?

i'm familiar with the problem of 'dropped attacks' where the game fumbles or has an internet problem and the game drops an attack .. this isn't that.

edit: it's happened again ... and it's happening to others too. it seems that it's only to people who applied 'hotfix' but not enough feedback to be positive.

Same here. happened twice in my recent 2 WW
No circle of death, it is 5 star when i just finished the war.
And then after i re-check the WW screen later, it becomes 3 stars or 4 stars.
WW becomes even worse now, really.

Same thing here. 5 stars with a minute to spare, shows up as 3 stars. To add insult to injury when I hit retrain it takes all of my resources, then crashes and rebuilds nothing.​​​​​

Looking forward to my canned response and maybe 100 crowns though!

This is why they'll NEVER give us war replays. If you could throw those in their faces the one underpaid guy in the Phillipines who handles all of their outsourced CS may quit.

This just happened to me, too. 5 star attack, no spinning circle, battle results page shows 5 stars, exit battle results, get spinning circle and 3 star for battle. It's literally going to cost my alliance what would otherwise be a winnable war, because we would have won the tiebreaker. It's also going to cost us 448 glory, which will take months for us to replace, as most of our wins only give us 10-20 glory. I also used tactics armies in the battle - what a waste...

I reported the incident, but of course they'll probably just respond with some carbon copy email about my wifi issues or some such garbage and try to sweep it under the rug.

I also just made my first negative review of any app ever in the Play Store. One star. This is ridiculous. I'm actually thinking about leaving... Our alliance is going to pause wars for now.

ETA: CS responded with a typical canned response - we're aware of this, looking into it, sorry for the inconvenience, thanks for your patience, blah blah blah" and directed me to the thread on the Battle Refactor 4.0 - from a year ago, SMH.

You're going to lose players over this Nexon.

do you people afflicted by this think it's related to the hotfix? it began with the patch, and the 3 people on our team so afflicted did patch.
i did not patch and have not had it happen.

Mine has the hotfix and most recent version, and I haven't had this happen before that. I think it happened to someone else in our alliance too - after the hotfix.

Just happened to 2 team members.
One has his attack showing 4 stars while hé scored 5 stars.
The other one has seen the world map adding his 5 stars battle to the score and then quickly the 5 points vanished, and his attack is lost, nothing is displayed not even 0 or 1 star.

We needed these 2 attacks and the result is that we gonna lose this war and more than 400 glory because of your crazy bugs

Congrats to you nexon. Keep on not doing anything. We have already lost some team members who quit because they were bored by the crazy numbers of bugs that kill the game.

Silence from Nexon on this thread is not acceptable. This is consistently happening on every war after the 5.5 hotfix. It's reaching boiling point..

We had two in our current war as well, and some last war, too. Super frustrating experience. 5*ing a hard base, using every tool at your disposal, and then having it show as 0 or 2 stars on the war map....I dont think Ive ever seen a bug make people more angry in our chat. Its pretty bad.

We have been losing stars for two wars in a row now, and ironically it's always on 5* attacks. Now this whole issue became even worse since Sunday.
Unfortunately it looks like no one at Nexon wants to officially acknowledge.
You report to CS and all you get is a canned response saying they apologize for the inconvenience and that they will address the issue.
However after all these days, I still don't see anyone addressing it....

Just happend to me to. Had a 5* clean sweep. After the battle the loading screen appeared 1 sec, than 4* and 1 min 55 sec was registered. Registered a call and waiting for the reaction from the admin.

I had the same problem a few minutes ago, I did 5 stars on their number 1, then I had the spinning circle, disconnection and after I reconnected ... 0 stars and 26% damage, come on Nexon ..
Also because of the stupid matchmaking we can win only 9 glory but we can loose 577 !! and we might loose it if others have this bug, this is just unacceptable ..

DomiNationsVigiles Nb4powerup Just logged on the forums during the weekend to post the fact it just happened to me again. Had a beautiful hit against a 245 with max lvl coalitions erased due to this. Its an absolutely horrid experience. You invest so much for these hits between mercs, 6x lvl6 coalitions, time to plan, etc. And its all wiped away. Had the base down with 30 seconds left, 5* on the screen. 4* and spinning wheel showed up on the summary screen. 3* and spinning wheel showed up on the war map.

Its bad enough we are facing a team with 5 out of rank bases and 3 level 10 or below iron ages on a 25 man lineup, now the critical hits we need to have any chance result in things like this.

it's so frustrating and worse, way worse, is the response from customer no-support. Samdbagging means we have to hit out of our league, in my case a base 40 levels and a fully developed age ahead of mine. All that planning, the offensive coalitions, the troop cards which I spent money on, down the swanny. And cs just shrug and say... oops sorry.

I had the ss, I sent them the ss, shouldn't have bothered.
