missing stars in ww fights

in ww multiple people report that they perform a 5* attack and when it concludes normally, the game reports the attack as 2* or 3*.
is this a new thing?

i'm familiar with the problem of 'dropped attacks' where the game fumbles or has an internet problem and the game drops an attack .. this isn't that.

edit: it's happened again ... and it's happening to others too. it seems that it's only to people who applied 'hotfix' but not enough feedback to be positive.

Happened on my alliance 3 members 2 wars. 5 stars reduced to 2-0. Ridiculous.

It's a couple of wars now that the phenomenon didn't show.
all attacks have been properly recorded.

It would be nice an official confirmation that the issue has been addressed in the server side.

Happened to at least two of our members in yesterdays war - no idea if it affected the other team. We won anyway, but it is still frustrating.

This has happened to us. No spinning wheel, you finish your attack and the spinning wheel appears, showing in the background the 5 stars but, when the "bad connection" appears and resets the game you find out you got only 2- 3 stars. Nexon does nothing. Just their automatic answers and not even the old 100 crowns to apologize. But listen to this: one guy entered into our alliance and talked to us about a bug to get more resources, some of us tried it and we have been banned some guys even twice for "stealing" a little gold that makes no difference, even the bug is their fault. So they ban and punish us easily but we can not do nothing but stop playing or wait for the next big game with real will from the developers to listen to their customers.
