i wanted to discuss this new tech which is completely unfair to many players
so this tech increases hp of wonders by 15%
this tech is particularly useful for forbidden city and useless for almost all other wonders for the following reasons

1- defensive wonders with passive effect remains after destruction so what's point of destroying them in first place?
2- economic wonders are not a priority for who attacks and not urgent to destroy them including notre dame which is indestructible

i know some other wonders could be a pain and need to be destroyed as angkor wat and colosseum but i never set them as a high priority to destroy and i guess no1 urgently needs to take them down

what am saying this tech could have been adjusted much better than that to be useful to all type of wonders just as the previous IA tech (heritage)
and i hope it gets better cuz i think it's pointless to get it unless i have forbidden city

Not particularly true as to it being completely useless. A building having more hp does mean a base essentially has more total hp, making it take more time to completely kill the entire base. At its best it's something like +1 or +2 more seconds it would take to kill the whole base. Sounds worthless, but it adds up eventually. The tech is definitely favoured for forbidden city though. Also talking about building hp reminds me that they still haven't made the estate function like notre dame in that it doesn't add up to a base's total hp. That thing needs to be changed so it is not a factor in wars.

Also in my opinion the worst library tech added was the ones that give the university discount. Most folk aren't even going to get to a point in the university where the cost of the uni tech would be an arm and a leg for those 10% discounts to matter.

I think this is an correct for the decision to give a tech 15 more seconds to Quick Victory! With that Forbidden City become less useful. Now they make sure the FC matters. Two demolition tactics no longer kill FC in Atomic Age, and with this tech you may have trouble with demolitions even if you have some Mongols coalitions or Uni techs.

i dont think that would be the driving factor to make u add this tech,
I was comparing the usefulness of this tech for each wonder and definitely it's gonna add the benefit u r talking about (raising total base hp) but it will be much much more useful to who have FC which is unfair

Am ok if they wanna make the FC matters but in turn other wonders should have been given a better benefit out of this tech other than hp rise

Well, since it's like the last tech of the wonder and people can always decide to not get it. If you have FC, get it. If you don't don't get it or prioritize other upgrades first. There are lots of useless upgrades like one increasing farming or road income and most of them can be skipped or require only one level of it. I don't really think this upgrade should be treated differently

If somethings is becoming useless it should be for all not for some players
Unfair advantage disturbing game balance, people already complaining about it making FC more powerful and superior over other wonders

I don't see the problem, FC is rarely a problem.
Even with 30% hp more, it's not a building solid and hard to destroy.
I don't own this wonder, for me it's useless.

Well, than the problem is within the FC, not the library tech. It does benefit all wonders except for the discount library but with varying degree. Having said that, upgrades like defender health or attack will benefit users using Colosseum more than those using FC even though they both benefit from it. I don't think the health bonus is more significant than the benefits from other upgrades that would benefit users using other wonder. The real problem is, all the other wonders are just really crappy compared to FC, except for Colosseum but still, FC is better in most situations in later ages. So I think the solution for this problem is buffing other wonders.

I know what Motaz actually means. Motaz not completely wrong.

in Global n Atomic, of coz our first QV would be on TC plus FC and the addiitional HP might be caused a delay of 1-2 seconds, given the power of global or atomic age. To get QV at Indus vs Indus is easy task compare to Global vs Global, thanks to the additional 15 sec on QV. But what about Atomic vs Atomic with more greater buildings?we will see. But, 1-2 seconds is part of timeframe for 100% destruction.

Of coz it wont happen most of the time, but what I understand was the threat of FC addiitional HP against a non targeted wonder or a target within 75 seconds vs a target within 3 min 30 secs. the strategy is different with advance age, troops, buildings, building numbers and walls to hit the certain target.

Yep that's what I meant, extra hp is not of value to other wonders as the huge value for FC

If u face it against strong bases in WW u won't be able to take it down without losing many tactics of demolition or 3-4 air planes
