The heck DomoNations? i seriously love this game and am on an industrial level 143, user name porknation254. So I dropped my medal count to 200 to save my oil for the current Anita Garibaldi event and i have oil for worth 80,000. its pretty awesome because i know i have some to spare. 6 hours later i log into my account and get am at 59,000. also, in a span of like 6 hours I've been hit 14 times. That is some real poor match making because usually at high levels am rarely hit. It kida sucks that the game matched me with those raiders all the time and you get someone is leaving my base with like 4000 oil.Though its rare ive seen it on a friends enlightment age account where he saves up like 50000 oli and in a span of 3 hours he has been hit till 32000. Its kinda unfair and though it may just be my ranting its really frustrating. I dunno,look into it for it is making an amazing game a lot more frustrating

If you are a tempting target you will be hit, plain and simple.
You worked hard to get the oil so why not spend it? It'll be hard to hide for a whole week so don't make yourself a target!

As you creep higher up the medal chain, you'll get high level players hitting you with every bug/exploit known in the game, so there's no magical range where you're safe.

Honest high level players don't need exploits, they'll hit you regardless.
And we're at all levels!

Yeah you get hit by both... I'm just tired of people throwing out 4 troop cards in MP because they're exploiting the SH bug. And that seems exclusive to kingdom league+.

I thought dropping medals when trying to save oil is not a good idea? I usually climb the ladder when trying to save oil, in that way if I get attacked at least I get a peace treaty

You're at low medals for easy raiding. Do you think that's unique to you? There's a sweet spot in every age between raider swarms and getting clobbered by bigger fish. It's up to you to find it. In IA it seems to be within one of the silver leagues.

No base is invulnerable. If you present a juicy enough target you will be hit. It's a matter of not being hit repeatedly.

the matching is based on your medal count.

if you are at 200, you will be matched with other people who are also around 200.

as in people who dont care about victories, they only care about resource raiding

To save the oil you need to do the opposite - climb up in medals as high as you can. You will still be hitted, but the chances that you get a peace treaty are much higher, so you won't get non-stop oil-robbing attacks.
