My breaking point

I decided to take a break from the game, I just don't get it anymore.
I am tired to see my base demolished every single time no matter how good I build it and defend it.
Defence is a joke in this game, I don't get it...the all aspect of the game is to build a strong base, but it's impossible when offence is 10 time stronger.
You just need 4-5 tanks and that's it,they take all the "damage" and your archers/artillery/airplains take out everything in seconds...
So until Nexon will do some balancing i will take a long holiday...

If anyone love defense you can join us to see. We mastered some techniques. You are still be 1-3 starred, but 4-5 stars will be rare.

I think defence is powerful enough in this game. If we would increase defence then it will become even harder to get loot for those global age upgrades.

Therefore, I'm against any defence changes.

What age are you?, I'm industrial mid way,let's say that I can 4-5 star every base in this game with 2 tactics and full army, so I will take all the resources no mater how good you will build your base.

Not sure i agree with you. I just recently upgraded to global. I still get defensive wins from global players from dynasty league giving me 39 medals.

I'm talking about defending my resources... Medals doesn't interest me while I have to grind millions of resources...

This is not a turtling game; there will always be someone stronger/better who will come by and loot my resources. After all, I can't expect to raid other players and have by base be impervious to attacks; I don't expect to have my cake and eat it too! I now sit at ~2600 medals, with 1 training blessing a day, and planned staggering of resource usage, I have more than enough to keep all my citizens busy and my library/armory pumping. 50% of my attackers take my TC and quit, so I hardly lose anything. If you are 4-5 starring any base with 2 tactics, then your mills, markets, and oil refinery should be overflowing. If that's the case, at lower medals, you would be a prime target for the strongest raiders who are "nexting" to find the juiciest bases. At high medals, you would be attacked within 15 minutes of logging off so it wouldn't matter. Besides, you would be so rich why would being demolished and losing resources even matter? Maybe one day defense will matter more... then there will be a new batch of people whining about not being able to loot enough resources to upgrade anything...

I would love to see all offense nerfed a bit, but only because it should be really hard to get a perfect team score in World Wars, and it's just not anymore.

This game is about dominating so attacking should be stronger than defending. I think defence is good as it is. With good defence layout it doesn't happen often that someone can get 100% destruction.

I'm mid industrial and I honestly don't really even see many raised spam armies anymore way down here at 400-800 medals. A ton of easy dead farming bases to loot as well which can often be beaten without losing any units allowing quick turn around of ~1000000 resources every 10-20 minutes. These bases also give protection most people don't bother to touch an active base among such easy targets.
You should probably try dropping down first to check it out, I even usually have maxed resources as I wait for workers to finish and very few people bother me.

If you concerned about resources then maybe you need to climb higher where people care more about medals than resources and leave your tc outside. Most will just take your tc and leave as the league bonuses do not justify the time troops required to 5 star a base unless your oil tank is overflowing with oil.

Haha Brand, been here for ages and as far as I can tell it's a never ending buffet here. Only time it was low was during that resource event where everyone was after it all

1 million of each resource? per 10-20 minutes? Really!!!! Is there lots of oil down there too?

I'm in the higher medal range. Enough strong bases up here. If you want more challenging bases because your 4-5 starring everyone then move up in medals.
