What nations are you and the reason why you choose it?

French for me.
Extra +6 alliance troops is great for war both on offence and defense. Faster troop train time also means retraining is pretty fast even without a TB. Special tanks are also really good with my army comp and can chew through most bases.

Have to give credit to the Brits though; so hard to defend against them.

Began as German for the rally and damage bonus, but switched to British when I went Global. Range and loot bonus are nice.

german....15% fury bonus to all troops (including planes), rally bonus (which doesn't work correctly!)....

I am attached to the idea of a tactically superior nation... not just one-shot wonders, or plus one shot wonders

So next in line would be french for me - better for war (high donation to warbase and super tanks)

Greeks because of the tanks, both stats and looks. As much as everyone rags on the Greek abilities I definitely find them handy, particularly refunding me extra oil (~10000+) from upgrades. Also get a few hundred thousand gold and food now as well.
In atomic age I can finish upgrades almost an hour early which can be useful for keeping upgrades rolling through to better fit my schedule.
I'd personally love a buff but there's nothing I actively dislike about them either so no real complaints.

There's no need to be rude, I wasn't saying Greeks are amazing or anything, just pointing out that the nation bonuses are a nice little bonus.
Plus I don't rely on the other national advantages to win battles, just tactical experience.

I play as the Koreans and Germans. I like both heavy tank inyourface approach and power of the Germans and I like the rifle power of the Koreans - plus the Koreans base looks nice. Two different styles and I have fun with both.

Curious to know your ranking for best WW nation, attack wise. Here's mine:

1- British for all ages up to Industrial. No need to mention any other, british are overpowering below Global.

For Global/Atomic, strategies change and influence the nation choice, but I would rank them like this:

1- Germans
2- British
3- Koreans

4- French
5- Romans

6- Greeks
7- Chinese
8- Japan

They're separated for a reason. Best/Average/Worst. What do you think?

Your rankings are close. Your top 3 are what most would say are the top 3 in terms of war. I disagree but everyone has an opinion! I'd just slide Germans to 3 bases on the archer meda being so good in this game.

1,2,3,4, in no particular order - Germans, British, Koreans, French
5,6 - Chinese / Greek
7 - Romans
8 - Japanese
