New airstrip unit: Dropship

It would be cool to see a utility type unit in the airstrip. An airplane that would drop in paratroopers would be historically accurate and would add a new dynamic to industrial age attack and defense as if your dropship arrives at the drop point (without being shot down of course), you would have ground troops at a point normally inaccessible due to walls.

They didn't use paratroopers until WW2. However, paratroopers and drop ships should be implemented.

They have just said paratroopers will be in the global age.

Even with the idea of global age and paratroopers to come, I would expect them to be at the mercy of towers and other air defenders. Is there a reason historicically speaking that they would be not shot at that I am not aware of?
