No stags with animal blessings?

Is this a thing, that you don't get stags when you use the animal blessing or am I just being unlucky?

I've used four blessings in the last few hours to get the event done and not a single stag.

I've not used this blessing in ages and can't remember if you ever got stags from it.

Anyone else?

Used this blessing plenty of times, and I indeed never got a stag while it was up. I actually don't think I ever got a stag appearing while I was online, blessing or not.

No, you can't get stags from animal blessings. I believe 1 stag will spawn naturally each day up to 2 (or 3 stags with library research). After this point, you must harvest them - if not already - or no more will spawn.
