I never have accused the Stacker/Sandbaggers of cheating. My point on the other hand is training times, 45 minutes to train an army is dead time in my book. Nothing is happening during dead time. I want loot, so constantly running up and down the medal ranges is the best path at getting that loot in a reasonable amount of time played. Nexon advertises to use crowns to speed up training times, lol we all know what advertising is for ;-]

As for cheating, well cheating is against the rules, the things I do inside this game is allowed by Nexon so in reality dropping medals isn't cheating, same for stacking an alliance for easier war matching. Nexon prolly never thought of it as a scenario same with most of the other bugs in this game. Now they are scratching their heads wondering how they missed such a flaw with the game, lol. Oh and God forbid the Boy sleeping on the Cott should get involved cause then they get their feeling hurt and start covering up the truth with post/thread deletions:-]

Nexon spoke of 'deverse alliances', lol everyone is starting to turn their alliances to stacker/sandbaggers which in turn is eliminating Nexon's hopes and dreams. Why, cause many that don't believe in that style have already uninstalled this game app. More are sure to follow by going elsewhere to enjoy gaming. I don't blame them. I blame the mass public for not coming together to wake that little Boy sleeping on the Cott and making a stand against the weakling stacker/sandbaggers.

maggiepie I had a few typos there so maybe you misread it, but I think that was my point. I was just restating that "cheat" can obviously mean different things to different people.

My real point I was making was that I am not going to say it is ok to do it. People have a choice, and adding iron age players is the wrong choice and has a negative effect on others and the future of the game.

I am sorry if you guys think I should play nice and avoid confrontation.

Apologies for the misunderstanding then (but ofc the sentiment still applies; I wasn't meaning to single you out anyway, just the idea of arguing over that particular term).

I also agree keeping the pressure on nexon to correct the problem in a more timely fashion is a good approach.

so count available attacks against all opponents using -+1 age difference. or adding like a 1,51 multipier for each opponent in a favor of more advanced alliance. not so difficult to change. this way an alliance with 5-10 iron age bases would never be mched against all GA, IA, EA age players, despite being around the same avg lvl or strenght. and they could be mached only agains alliance with enough available attacks. but that means, that the strongest players amount and strenght must be around the same for both allys. so stackers would face stackers. and of course fix stelamates. also a lot of ideas how to do it on these forums.

Btw, has there ever been a post that is entirely devoted to suggestions about potential ways matches could be made or potential fixes that would would solve the sandbagging?

A post that excludes arguments/discussion about sandbagging. I know that there have been suggested solutions all over the place in different posts, but by centralizing them, it might help nexon to know what the players want. We are the ones that play the game after all and therefore the ones who might foresee potential problems with their "fix." Ans, some of our friends who like glitches would be able to point out where a new system could be manipulated.

If nexon is failing to come up with a fix, we could just spoon feed them a solution.

I actually really liked the rabbit-turtle analogy- but thought generally we were getting hung up describing characteristics of the animal, and in the meantime forgetting the fact that whatever the heck animal it is, it's eating all the veggies in the garden. I do agree with you btw, and my post was mostly directed towards the UA folks. I had a hard time trying to figure out if they were being sarcastic, because it seemed so indefensible. But, I do really believe that the best course of action is to make sure Nexon knows its a problem, and that their players are raising the issue wherever possible. The teams doing this arent embarrassed of it and public shaming really wont do much unfortunately.

I think that is part of the overall frustration, there have been so many threads like Vixen said, dedicated to this. Heck, the problem of stalemates was even brought up in the preview threads before glory was even released. But, for some reason Nexon is afraid to act or prioritize this. I cant for the life of me figure out why. Tbh even if they mess it up again, it probably cant get any uglier than it already is.

This thread has run its course. Lots of great feedback from both sides but the bashing/personal attacks will stop. I've been more than lenitinet for the sake of allowing a free flowing civil discussion but this topic seems to cause too much bickering.
