Peace Treaties for Defending

If you aren't going to fix the force quit exploit, could you at least give us a peace treaty when we are attacked no matter what the attacker gets/does.

We should at least get a short treaty for a defense win, so we have time to reset traps and buffs, otherwise our towns are left vulnerable for the next attacker which could be within a few minutes of the defense win. Does that make sense to you? We win a battle which means the next attack is more likely to gain a 5 star victory.

Actually, what would be even better if you win on defense all your traps, buffs, generals and alliance troops are reset as a reward for defending well so you have the same defense for the next attacker, no need for a short treaty.

And please do something about force quiting, it's made the defense part of the game at the high level a joke, hardly anyone takes the medal loss for not winning, many high level players (2,500+ medals) avoid creating a strong defense to avoid too many force quits!!!

I agree that, small treaty allowed for nations who won the defensive battle, esp upon the traps were triggered, I would be happy if it is just 2 hours, but not min 8 hours to avoid us unable to find more opponenents. So, 1-2-3 hours is excellent for us to reset the traps.

After Redgar posted about the ghost attack ( closed app attacked ), I notice more and more exploits happened overnight, or more or more ppl known it. I regularly being attacked by ghosts with resources losts and traps triggered.

The force quit exploit has been an issue for months, when you get to a relatively high level (looks like around 2000 medals) pretty much everyone who attacks you knows if they are loosing to avoid medal loss, force close the app!

The attacker still gets gold/food/trade, looses their deployed army, attack buffs, but no medal loss.

The defender looses gold/food/trade, might loose defensive buffs, traps are sprung, but there's no peace treaty or medals gained: no log of the attack.

If you login right after a force quit you'll even see your buildings rebuilding sometimes after the attack.

This has made the high level defense pointless, in my logs of the 34 attacks only 3 are defense wins.

When I log off I log back in a few mins later to check if I've been force quit (at 2,500+ medals you tend to be attacked within a minute of logging off) and most of the time I have, can sometimes be force quit 3 or 4 times in a row before an attacker gets a win. So those 34 battles in my log are probably the result of 70 to 100 attacks with most being force quits!

Nexon needs to fix this to make the defensive game fun again, at lower levels it's still fun as most newish players don't know to force quit to protect medals.

This is an important improvement, DaveTheWave. Would you be willing to take the trouble to post it on my ranked list in the "general" tab. I'm only reaching out directly to a handful of people who have really great ideas, but I'd encourage anyone to participate. The goal is to have a list that is managed by forum posters, rather than the devs, so that when good ideas get pushed to the back of the forum, we don't lose them. Also, a list will give us leverage to push for change. Hope I'm not asking too much.

i know I've said it before, but the force quit problem could easily be fixed if they only rewarded the loot stolen in battle on the battle report screen. that way is either get the loot and lose the medals, or force quite, keep your medals and lose your army.

also if the lose wasn't so severe 1 medal for a win -39 for a lose, then people wouldn't feel the need to protect their medals by using this exploit.
