People is running out of resources?

It is just me or people are running out of resources?

I have to pass through about 20 opponents (and there it goes 5k gold) to find someone with more than 50k. I am in the Medieval Age, so less than 50k is nothing!

Let me know if you also think that the game resources are running out.

They are probably being wise and spend their resources before someon else takes it. But then I've only been Medieval for a weeks so I dont know if it was that common before

One or another, OK, I agree. But almost everybody has no resources lately. And since this is the most important way to get resources in this game, it's getting harder and harder to evolve.

This issue is called 'Nexting' where you spend hours pressing the Next button. It happens to games like these.

You could just take easier bases with 30-40k loot and save your army rather than waiting for full buildup and only stealing 50-100k loot.

It's all well and good finding the perfect base with a massive amount of resources, but if you can find a mediocre base, I usually hit that. It saves 'Nexting' and wasting money, and it allows you to build up more TC hits, or defender kills which go towards achievements etc. Its a lot more time consuming get that, but the patience in doing this way will benefit you in the long run.

drop medals down a couple of leagues. Beat up on easier opponents for a little less and keep your army in tact for more raids

the bonus is you can snipe lots of resources as your losing medals. lots of dumb base designs out there

I have agree with the OP. The last 3 days have been brutal for me. I believe a lot people are just not playing much anymore and those that are are smarter. I just spent 6 hours today farming. All the way from C 1 to S 3 and back down to C 1 for a couple hours. I had to waste full armies on top level cities or scout so many times for viable farms I wanted to toss my tablet across the room. Trying to get a good amount of gold anymore is royal PITA now. I don't want it to be easy, I want the challenge. Something has to change IMO. Just farming lowbies is now hard and boring because all I do is scout and fight and then I am lucky to get even 40k. As of now if you want to build higher level buildings your glued to your device for hours on end because your an instant farm if you stop for a pee break.

This game needs to be about the bragging rights of being a good strategist and a fighter climbing the ranks, not about who can farm the little people the most. Some ides that have already been tossed around but needed in some fashion.

Increase vault to 1 million
Increase gold and food production a lot
Make defense a possibility - If I want your resources I am taking them right no matter what right now

Maybe let us produced a few more troops but limit how many can be deployed.

Yesterday I went doown to about 400 medals and got some loot, but max 40-60k per attack. So, that strategy is not working so good as well.

About this strategy... I find it a little weird that to evolve you have to lose battles, go down in medals and then go back up. Something is not right here! What's the point of raising up the medals?


I'm investing all my resources to evolve my farms and camels.
I'm completely ignoring defense now. After the last update, defense is not an option anymore. I'm in medieval age, and even players in classical age can beat me easily. My base is OK, level 5 walls, 4 towers lvl 4, 2 artillery towers, 2 lvl 2 catapults, coliseum, resources inside, center outside... So, it's not bad. And I am still defeated always.

Something is not right.

1 - As I said, I went down on medals yesterday and things are almost the same there.

2 - As soon as I enter the game (maintenance), I will post a screenshot of my layout. And, yes, I've read the layout threads.

Exactly that is my beef with the game: there is no strategy here, just yo-yo up and down the medal range raiding 2hrs for enough loot to get a big upgrade.
Then spend another 20mins just sacrificing troops to drop medals to you can keep them.
Is that how they want Dominations to be???

Yups. When all the lower Age players get those free medals, their leagues will be raised. In a way, deranking is a way to help the ecosystem to grow lower level players go higher in the league.

Actually the strategy of lowering medals is no way near as effective as it used to be. 3 or 4 months ago I could spend 30 to 40 kins of raiding and I would cream 2 to 3 million combined resources. Now, Noone can do that consistently.

I am think the computer "Opponent Match's" are
a pretty loose, random computer search for logged-off players. I haven't had any problems looting in the he last two days.( Upwards of 2 million. )
I am think you may have just hit a dry stretch.
There are PLENTY of players out there who
HAVE NO CLUE about base defense/design.

Coming from someone who just paid for a maxed out base you really have no ground for a comment here.
