Please DO NOT reset the alliance troop donation count!!!

So this week the Alliance's troop donation counts were reset. WHY?

Other freemium games do this and I just don't understand why. It promotes people to free-load off donations during the final days before the reset and causes all kinds of problems for alliance leaders trying to manage alliances and work out which members have slowly been leeching more and more troops each month.

Though merely speculating, it could have had something to do with yesterday's server maintenance.
I noticed that once they were back on, a download of 7 files needed to be completed prior to entering the game.
We would need to hear from Nexon in order to be sure.
