so i am waiting for marco polo to make these offers which enable me to get closer to finishing the achievements. Which in turn give me crowns which are pretty useless as i dont buy crowns.

so these ridiculous offers are the best thing about marco polo for me.

i have said before that resources which can only be used for 1 thing are a significant limiting factor in the game.

The quality of gameplay in any strategy game across multiple consoles is vastly improved by having a number of routes to achieve a particular goal. Opening up NTG to other uses, eg swap for crowns, oil, workers even food/gold would promote both NTG and Marco polo.

With all the heavy grinding for trade goods, NTGs, rubies, paltry crowns from free offers or trees/animals, etc, Marco could be the one outlet where Nexon gives us something worthwhile. Like working hard for your wages, you want to go shopping or clubbing for some pleasure, right?
But no, instead of Marco being a place to stress out from the daily grind, he’s just as frustrating as some other aspects of the game.
Really Nexon, how frustrating can you make this game for us? Throw us a bone once in a while!

It would be nice to be able to trade, for example, 10 NTG for a troop tactic. The first few Marco offers included these, but nothing since. That's a good point that those who don't war have no way to use NTGs. At least having one offer to convert them to something useful would be great.

What if Marco added the trade goods you gave him, and then re-offered them to others?
If I give him 3 wood for 1 cheese, why not add the 3 wood to his inventory and offer them to the next person? This way Marco’s inventory would change every few minutes and eventually have something for everyone.
All you’d have to do is wait a few minutes if you need anything specific.

The forums have been filled with talk of cheating in war.
i have a fairly basic strategy which is probably not war positive.
the planning etc etc, seems like fairly hard work which i cant be bothered with.

my own fault i know, im not taking advantage of the whole game. But NTGs.are.pretty boring for me

BDS, I thought you respected to the members and changed it from 3:1 to 3:2 , but seem it was only a test and temporary, and again it got back to the worst status 3:1!

Can't understand why you should be too stingy of anything? Does it really cost you?
These offers are most insult than offer!
But you should to know you only insulting to yourself, not us!

Again they run the ridiculous offer of 500 crowns for a diamond mine. Since you get 1 diamond every 8 hours, it's difficult for most players to get 3 per day, and usually only muster 2. So that's only 14 diamonds you get out of the mine. The going rate to just buy the diamonds outright is 30 crowns per diamond. Which means you could just buy the 14 diamonds directly for 420 crowns. Huge ripoff, plus you need to keep 4 workers available. No thank you.

At least the NTG trade offers are back to 3:2 with good choices this week. The ruby offer is also reasonable.
