Also, it costs less oil to build than a bunker of the same age. Considering what these two structures represent, that makes no sense. One is a parking spot for your tank, the other is a complex system for guiding missiles.

Also, the timeframe is completely inaccurate historically, the first underground missile silo wasn't built until the 60s (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missile_launch_facility). And if you think about it, it makes sense, since it requires computers to operate. 1960 is Cold War Age, not Global. Global is WW1 (early 1900), Atomic is WW2 (1940), neither age is accurate for the silo. If silo was added to Cold War Age instead, with a proper counter-weapon (a mobile high-range missile launcher for the attacker), we wouldn't be having all these complaint threads. I hope Nexon is reading this.

Gotta correct you here. Global age is WW2, Industrial Age is WW1. Atomic is directly post WW2, 1945. - 1950s or so. Which makes Cold War age in the 1960s.
This wouldn't be the first time historical inaccuracy was commited in the game (Chevaliers in Iron Age).

Industrial Age is actually extremely broad period of time that started before even the 19th century and technically encompasses the Global and Atomic ages of this game, but in spirit of this game I feel like WW1 is actually closer to Global Age. Regardless which of us is right, however, my point about the missile silo still holds. It does not belong in the game until Cold War Age.

I think they should reverse the changes they made to tactics .. put it back to where it was. At least you have a chance against a top level base with the silo. Currently people are sharking the lower levels which will drive away upcoming players who want to progress. It is killing the game for them. It will kill off the earnings for the game makers as folks will give up in frustration.

I'm happy with it in Atomic Age, as the name suggests. Then I can see why the devs made it available to the Global age.
Otherwise they would've gotten even more complaints than they have.

I agree with your comments about it NOT being a natural progression of the game in it's current form.
However, making it cost something is valid. It's a monster of a building, so it should be a drain on our resources.

I have to agree here. Since getting last week I have not been attacked once in war. In PvP even atomics cant 5 star me anymore and that's IF I get attacked and quite frankly my layout is joke to be honest. I used to be attacked multiple times a day in PvP.

That being said the silo has killed the game. Many like myself will just click to next opponent to get one without the silo rather than be blasted to hell.

Hitting a base in PvP with a silo is not worth the troop expense at all when your retrain time is going to be an hour and you get maybe 500k food on average.

It's Nexons way of forcing players to crown training and buy troops. More P2P is not what the game needs.

We have to consider the V2 rocket as the first long range guided missle, and it was built during WW2 - global age.

Secular , l wouldn't call it a guided missile like the missile silo at all.
The germans pointed it at England with just enough fuel to get there. When it ran out of fuel it, fell on the cities. Not very 'guided'. :)
