Tempted by never as there are so many faults, but bug fixes, etc don't sell games whereas headline new stuff does. So it will be released ASAP which will prolong it's life. Temporarily.

In order to stay hopeful and keep playing the game I said December but really I have a bad feeling it will be never. Sure would be awesome if they would give us another State of the Nations address to let us know they are still working on it. I suppose if this game is dead they will stay silent.

Guaranteed it wont be december. Thats alliance wars release. So couple months after alliance wars. February is a good guess

I'm not totally convinced "World War" means alliance wars but am hopeful on that too... World War could also mean Global age is coming... Either way it will mean something is happening and they are acually doing something new and interesting. I sure would like to read something in English filling us in on this. Would certainly be nice to show they even care about their customers on this side of the World (Globe).

There is exactly 0% chance of that being the case. Its silly for u and eddie to be entertaining the idea

I hope Dbukalski is right. Imo, alliance wars is a significantly higher priority than global age.

I think my point wasn't as much about what it actually is that we are waiting for as it was about BHG keeping us in the dark for months about anything even happening. I'm tired of trying to guess if, when or what to expect.... Just tell us already. Are we playing a game here? or just stuck like rats in a maze?

Bear in mind that BHG is a relatively VERY VERY SMALL dev team compared to other game developers (with a rather tormented past). However, it is no excuse to ignore the intended users. Granted there is a forum for discussion but BHG presence is practically non-existent. The PR and marketing department have plenty of room for improvement.

2 things..... 1. The market for alliance wars = huge portion of potential users. Market for global age, maybe 20%? 5% of people that download the game? Maybe?

Expected date dec 1... Oh we missed our deadline working on issues.... Just like with women, communication goes a loooong way.
2. I am fine and used to having my expectations screwed with by the cutting edge of the Internet, kind of comes wth the territory. However, we, as leaders of alliances, especially of 45- 200 or 500 or whatever you super alliance player hogs are doing over there, are dealing with, with multiple languages and time zones and people that we are trying to keep interested in a purposely time frustrating game are people that don't do well with, oh news is coming... Oh nevermind... Oh coming soon, oh wait, I'm an idiot. So, how about helping US out, you know the people that help you make money and get nothing in return and feed us some real information...

Global age is really not needed at the moment. How many people are completely maxed out in IA? Not a lot of legit players. They would be releasing content that only a minority will have access to. A lot of dev efforts with minimal game impact.

To me it's at least 6 months away if not longer.

It is true not many legit are MAXED in IA at the moment. That said. requirements to upgrade to Global Age is being IA and not being maxed IA. So, there is definitely a significant number of players at IA that is Global Age upgradable. Generally, those that have maxed offense is ready to take on the next age.

That still leaves us with not a lot of people

Only the people at the top of the leaderboard will upgrade to global age with only maxed offense because you're already only fighting IA opponents most of the time. But that's what? 200 players?

For the IA players in the lower medal range (500-2500) lurking for easy loot, there is no way they will go to global age until they have maxed out IA. It's not in their interest to not being able to attack EA bases, which should be plenty of targets at that range.

Players in the low medal range also have a different mentality which is to casually upgrade their base all around first and then move on. They are not about efficiency, don't really care about going higher than lvl 7 walls and just want to play it slower and enjoy the base building experience.

Nothing wrong with that, just explaining why many people won't upgrade to global age because they only have maxed offense. For some people, that's not enough to move to the next age.

Hope it won't be released too soon. I've only just reached IA and could do without Global Age units tearing my base apart. Spring sounds realistic to me and gives time for the rest of us to upgrade defences and walls. Only 14 pieces of wall are level 10 so far.

The main reason I downloaded the game in the first place was cos I thought it would be fun to grow a civilisation ''in my spare time'' - take your time building the base, growing the crops, change the base design, drop in from time to time to rake in the money, that sort of thing. The graphics looked so much better than others out there and I thought it would be a good waste of 5-10mins here and there while waiting for my wife at the shops, etc.
Yes, yes, yes ..... I know. (3 civs later and I'm still hooked!)
