Questions regarding roads hanging gardens and etc...

I learned about having lots of buildings touching my road for gold bonuses. I just learned that my trees and gold mines shoudl be touching my hanging gardens for a bonus

What else am I missing in this game that increases my abilities / farming ?

You should have chosen Stonehenge for farming. Gardens are pretty much useless later on when the upgrade times are in days.

You should consider Notre Dame for your next Wonder.
