Sorry For The Newbish Questions Regarding Airstrip And Factory

About to speed finish my town center to Cold War and because it’s been soooo long I forgot. Regarding the airstrip, once I start upgrading it, do I still have access to the planes that are currently available? I know I can no longer build planes while it’s under construction but as long as I can use the existing planes, I’ll be insanely careful with protecting them.

Similar questions regarding my factory. I have one level 1 and the other maxed for AA and I want to upgrade that as well to Cold War. Am I able to retrain the apcs and tac helis while upgrading or are they unavailable while it’s under construction? In that’s the case I’ll just go back to barracks troops. In case someone asks I’m upgrading armory and airstrip than going to try and grind it out to get oil and make it before factory upgrade sale ends in 7 hours. As always thanks for the info. you can use the planes that you’ve trained already but good luck trying not to lose them lol i always lose mine even quicker when i try harder not to

from lvl 1 factory you can only train machine guns so no to apc and tact heli

Same for me. Seems like when I upgrade airstrip my planes like to circle the base a few extra times just to drive me insane.

They do extra loops if the original target is destroyed before they get to it so they have to circle again to find the next target

I know. I was joking. It’s just funny how much more you notice their erratic behavior when you chance losing them for the rest of a 12 day upgrade.
