Resources disappearing

I keep losing resources I didn't spend, nor were lost in an attack. A few hours ago I had 13 berries and 13 metal. I now have 0 metal for no obvious reason. This has been happening daily and seems to affect diamonds and metal primarily. I have no idea what's causing it. It's a new issue as of sometime in the past week.

Instant retrain while watching a video will still take the tradegoods you have available. Cider, metal and diamonds are probably used for those?

Yup, that's what's happening. I just confirmed. It still retrains all the mercenaries, but consumes as many resources as are available. I suspect this wasn't intended behavior. But oh well.
