Second airstrip to Level 4?

Has anyone done it yet, and why? It doesn't seem like it will increase my limit of planes which is at 8 with my level 3 airstrip. And I can build all 3 different kind of planes in both airstrip. Why would I build the 4th level, am I missing something?

You have to keep upgrading airstrip to unlock upgrades for planes. Level 6 airstrip required to build veteran fighters but why upgrading second airstrip beyond level 3, thats a good question

It's quite possible that in the future they might release newer air units that get unlocked at higher levels of the air strip (just like how things went with the second factory).
But, for now, yes, upgrading the second air strip beyond level 3 doesn't provide additional benefits.

Level 3: 210,000 oil
