Simple Questions

1 (On non-Gatling Gun retinue): I have Level 10 Generals that Spawn Halberdiers. Will they spawn Fusiliers when I upgrade them to Level 11?
2 (On Statue of Liberty): Does the Statue of Liberty’s Attack Bonus affect Attack Helicopters and Tactical Helicopters?
3 (On Extra Generals): Why do I need to spend Oil to use multiple Generals?
4 (On Oil Production): Should I move to IA to start investing heavily in Oil researches, or will it be a non-challenging task to accumulate Oil at EA?

4) Upgrading oil production is always a good thing. However, like gold and food, most of your oil will come from raids and in IA you will more easily obtain oil vs staying in EA because in IA you can attack EA, IA and GA all of which have oil and some will have plenty. However, my oil wells are at level 1,1,2,2 and I have the library maxed for oil production, I don’t plan on getting it to level 3 until I finish my defense upgrades first since most my buildings that require oil are upgraded/upgrading.

1) I'm not sure.
2) No, Statue of Liberty only affects fighters and bombers (only units from the airstrip). It doesn't affect transports at all, since it has no offensive weaponry on the actual unit, and the paratroopers are considered ground units.
3) Good question. It's one of the many stupid designs in the game. I guess it's to avoid using them on every attack, but the 24 hour cooldown on generals is already a huge deterrent to using generals outside of war anyway.
4) Oil production from advanced oil wells certainly adds up after a while. I get about 17k oil a day from my wells, which is a decent chunk. You will always get more from raiding, but every bit helps.

1) I think it depends on what troops your garrisons spawn

4) Don't stop in enlightenment to do much of anything with oil. It is easier to raid for it and get it from resource buildings in industrial or global, not worth the hassle in enlightenment. Max your offense and move up.

I'm honestly having an easier time getting oil on my Enlightenment British account than my Industrial German one. I'm sure the loot bonus helps a lot though.

British are easier to play, right up until you get APCs in atomic. Then things even out a bit, and Germans are better for war. Having your archers be out of range of redoubts is a blessing I didn't appreciate until I started my German alt.
