I think this game is way better than COC but I cant figure out why they dont talk to us! I bought the starter gem pack and I am ready to spend more money but there are so many questions left not answered I am afraid to. Have the cheating issues been resolved?

This is what you would probably get from the mods. "Hey rod, I'm sorry to hear your not having a great experience with this game! We're trying to sort out all the issues so you can enjoy re game more. Keep wasting your money on this game because we don't really care but are happy to take your money! "

I agree with you Rod, this is a good game. I find the general game-play excellent and engaging. Unfortunately, it appears that cheating is still going on and the developers have done nothing about it. I noticed the cheating about 2 months ago. I have sent reports with screenshots. The developers have stated through the forums that they will do something about it, but nothing practical has actually been done. On a brighter note, the game, at least for me, has become more stable and crashes are less frequent, although they still do happen.

In all fairness: technically, it was the publisher that stated through the forums that they will do something about it. The developers, that would be Big Huge Games.
A useful distinction to keep in mind.
Although it is possible, if not highly likely, that they (BHG) check this forum from time to time, I don't think I've ever seen any dev actually post anything.
Theoretically, one would think that with actual feedback regarding the game development, Nexon M is simply the messenger.
Also, it probably couldn't hurt to consider the option that on weekends, this forum may see reduced (if any) Community Manager activity.
Business days vs. weekend and all. : )
