On March 19, 2019, players will be able to turn their eyes to the heavens and advance to the Space Age, where they can research new technologies, construct powerful new buildings and troops, and take on greater challenges in events that recognize great moments in world history.

In honor of the historical Space Age, the update adds new leader Sally Ride, NASA astronaut and first American woman to go into space, as well as Space Shuttle and SETI Wonders to bolster players’ technology and civilizations. Additionally, events surrounding the Space Age launch celebrate pioneers like Yuri Gagarin, the first human to travel to space, as well as events and milestones of humanity’s exciting leap into space such as Sputnik, the Moon Landing, and Apollo 13. The events will offer players unique rewards as they prepare to propel their nations towards the stars.

If we're to assume everything in that video has been upgraded that can be upgraded, then you can see upgrades to the following:
  • Library
  • All economic buildings
  • Tank Depot and Garrison and Bunker
  • AA guns, Machine Gun Towers, Towers, AT Guns, Mortars, Sniper Tower
  • Walls (thank God for orange!)
  • Factory and Barracks and Airstrip (not visible, but assumed)
  • Fort
  • University
  • Vault
  • Missile Silo (2 levels?)
No upgrades (at least initially or not visible in the video) for:
  • Museum
  • War academy
Hopefully we can get some clarity on if the A10 and Stealth Fighter will be new units or....troop tactics.

Terrible choice of timing in Europe. 5 pm? People still at work or finishing up. Very disappointed. Now I'm gonna have to watch it on a train from London with crappy connection.

from this first glimpse, it seems that Nexon/BHG really put a lot of effort in designing the new age. Well done!
I am so curious about the units and that countdown thing at the end

watching the live stream now. some hilights include a 2nd airstrip and a new tactic once you upgrade the missile silo that lets you shoot a missile at a random non-resource target. edit: the level requirement is 246. yes, 246. edit2: atomic age+ will be able to make a 2nd airstrip.

2nd airstrip would cut plane training time in half. Very good
246 is a reasonable level. Still takes years to get there but for a game like this that’s expected.
Hopefully there will not be any awful surprises that offset the good

I am worried about the number of players in each level.
Players level>220 : 44440
CWA players: 32113
Players level>240 : 19021
Players level>246 : 13744

After the realease of EA, the number os CWA player it going to a half or less.
At the least, could you create a mini rush event, for atomic players over the level 220? in the short term

What Summer for the Ages? In our alliance, there's this guy over 230 who refused to advance to Cold War (has been around that level before Winter for the ages event) because he hasn't maxed his commandos and university research 😆
All depends on game style, even discounts couldn't save these people. Only if they take it very slowly then they'll get there.
Some people enjoy being in comfort zone.

Without CWA players raiding Globals, both they and AA players will be able to advance faster.

Xabar, where are you extracting the data from? Is it from that Polish website? If so, I don’t think the numbers reflect all the players, only those in alliances.

It reflects everyone who’s been in an alliance at some point. Only cheaters will be CWA and never have joined one.
