Hello Tin, please don’t wait introducing Spaceage till april or even later. The few 15 days updates you gave us last week where due summer 2018. Nothing exiting new has happend in one year except for the museum. This week, 2 of our high level players left. Reason was that they were bored. Our almost 4 year old alliance went from 49 friends to 35 now in one year. There is no interest anymore in this once great game. Kind regards Emile.

Rebuttal: TinSoldier please make sure they thoroughly test any Space Age releases before sending it out to the community.
If it requires an extra month and you release the next age in May but it goes smoothly, we will all be thankful for it.

We don't want anymore catastrophes like the Rise of the Super Heavy Tank 6.7 debacle.

There are hundreds of level 300 out there yet they are not bored. And lots of level 60 that are bored already. Some people tend to get bored easily indeed 😉

Not that I don't support Space Age birth, just saying... 😊

It's a mobile game...turnover is typically pretty high. The fact that you all played for four years speaks volumes about the game.

That high turnover is normal and expected. And that is why the game length should be continually adjusted so that a new player is never more than 2 years away from whatever the max is on the day they start. A game like this needs a continuous infusion of players to survive, and they need to get to high levels to play against other high level players. It won't happen if they are looking up at a miserable 4 year slog.

There are plenty of guys in my alliance in the 200+ range that are having fun playing in Wars, doing upgrades, improving their Museum. A few here and there come and go but we still have 35-40 active players.

Yes! We need more young new players that want to move up the ranks and reach CWA. It's not the problem that CWA players are getting bored it's that we need more fresh blood. And taking 3-4 years to catch up is not a recipe to get new players ( who would in turn be joining our alliances).

Agreed Yemen.

I get it. We need more CWA players. But I don't think fast tracking noobs to the highest levels is the solution. That would be unfair to all those who invested significant time and resources to max out their bases and units. Additionally, I don't think Nexon would even consider making this change. Like any other base building game out there, impatient players who can't wait to upgrade buildings/units are the money makers.

I was a quitter long ago, of course I got bored at that point. Tried different games and filled my boring life with boring work routine, and I came back here, with... 10 more accounts! 😆
Creating alts is an anti-boring material 😊
I understand that losing allies could get us down, but it's inevitable 😕

Epic Ninja I think a two year slog (where many will spend some money to hurry through it) would generate far more revenue than a four year slog that takes tens of thousands of $ to speed up. Especially if we went back to zero pay to win.

But don't take my word for it, check CoC's financials. I would have switched, but the gameplay is not as good and I have been here a while. But the financial model, development, and customer support are worlds better over there, and it shows.

Anyone who has spent (whether time or money) to make progress in this game should be happy to have it rejuvenated by an influx of new players and a lot more activity in every level of the game. Unfairness is a pointless discussion here - at this point if they don't change something they are just milking the current playerbase until the game dies.

2 years is fine but the problem is that in 2yrs time everyone at the 'max' age 2 yrs ago will be 2 years further ahead and you will still have people complaining about being 2 yrs behind the others.

Manifesto - 2 years should be the rolling target. Anytime they add new content at the end, they should shorten some earlier game content to keep the total at two years. The earlier ages will keep getting shorter, so that players who want to move up quickly can, and even completionists will never be that far away from a decent level.

You are correct that if they add 6 months of new content, and a player already in progress has completed everything they shorten, they will then be 6 months further away from max. But they will still be closer to it than a new player starting would be, and in most cases a non max player should have some things ahead of them that got shortened too.
