Training 6800 Atomic Age French tanks?

With the 'Guns of the Sultan' event, we need to train 680 of my nation's unique troops. For me and some others that means we need to train 680 Atomic Age French tanks. French tanks also survive most battles. So, I usually use only 2-3 tanks for most battles. So, what do you want us to do, Nexon? Just give up? I think targets should be adjusted for each nation. Shooters and infantry are easy to train and use. Tanks are not. Not to mention their higher retrain time.

Yeah. Someone else told me that too. Still a lot of tanks, I think!

Empire you are quite in a good position compared to other nations, like British: 6800 shooters need about 94 hours, 680 french tank needs about 56 hours. This event is much easier for you than for oher nations.

EVERY time they do the unique troop event we see these same threads, yet they keep doing the event without change...

The biggest issue is the scaling to atomic; industrial needs 2000 troops, but atomic needs 6800, and has no advantage in time to train troops. Industrial it is a hard challenge - for atomic, I might be able to get to 3700 for the second set of cards. Not trying beyond that.

And the food reward isnt really a reward. i have to spend 3.2m food in troop training just to get 1.8m food...

Yeah, probably too much for me to complete. I feel the last event of this kind had lower numbers? I just did complete the last one.

All you gotta do is train an army of tanks, that's 15 tanks. Then go and snipe some TC's and end the battle OR use them to raid for oil/raid storehouses for traded goods, it's not that bad guys!

I'm in Atomic and trying to train 6,800 troop space (or as someone pointed out 680 tanks) is absurd for a limited time Janissary barracks. I will go about my business as usual and I will get what I get.

For Germans, it will take over 20 hours of continuous training in 3 barracks to reach the goal. That's asking a lot. Most players won't even play that much in a week!

I don't understand why events have to be more difficult for later ages. In most cases, later ages have no means to complete the event any easier, so the logic makes no sense.

I feel like we cycle between events that are really really easy, and ones that are insanely difficult to complete..

I must have missed the Nexon van that came around and held a gun to all of your heads, forcing you to finish the event! :D

I'm GA and they tell me to train 3900=390 tanks. I barely need to retrain tanks during my attacks and I already have almost no reason to play with all my workers on 10+ day upgrades. Seriously nexon, your game design is so flawed that it discourages players to spend less time as they progress.

As a French Atomic this event takes 2,5 hrs to complete this even on a TB. Yes the build and dump is boring but 2,5hrs is a lot less than I normally spend on an event. I also spread out by filling barracks with tanks just before logging out (bed, work, dinner etc...), and then dump when logging in again. Conclusion, I spend almost no game time on completing this event - I really do not see the problem. :)
