Troop Tactics in Victory Chest are a joke

I am Global but to receive a level 3 Gunpowder Age Shieldmaidan Army as a reward is a complete joke. Might as well spit in my face. If I was able to tell what level it is before claiming it I would have never taken a POS level 3 army. I would have been better off taking metal, cider or diamonds for my mercs

The changes to the victory chest are not a positive thing so far. I got a troop "recruit" for watching an ad - worse than useless, all it does is instantly build the thing in your barracks. Assuming you have space, of course. If you aren't high medals, bad cards and junky items are crowding out the trade goods that are actually worthwhile for mercenaries.

League bonus the same way. Yet with that I could preview the army stats and again its Gunpowder for a Global player. no thanks. +4 cider far more useful

very true. would be a nice way to fill lower levels with troop cards during war

Im thinking they're giving more ways for us to have troop cards because of introduction of missile silo since it would almost kill all your troops the use of troop tactics would be often, i don't know how would this go or direction would it go, this would be a game change we're looking for or a game ender for bhg, of course players will adapt if not fully adapt hopefully bhg would listen to feedback and do balance and nerf
I haven't seen missile silo in action yet so im waiting what strategy would work
But im. Positive that troop cards would help to 5 star a base with that monster silo

I agree with the OP. The new troop tactics rewards are gargage. They are weak by the type, but they are even weaker because if the low level. It would be OK if I can skip them, or choose anything else, but today my League boat was giving me to choose 2 of those useless TT anr some cider. I have chosen the cider of course. I would rather find NTGs in the League boat, however.

IMHO they are free and they are available to choose form other rewards so it's better than not having them. But I agree they should be closer to the players age, maybe one/two ages below, but not four ages.

The problem is that they aren't available to choose from other rewards. In my last boat, I had two low level cards or a tower blessing. No thanks, can I get my diamongs, ntg or trade good options back please?

I agree with yemen . These options are worthless. Even more worthless than low level troop cards are the "recruit troop" rewards. I mean really??? really? I can one time save 5 minutes training 3 tanks or save a minute training 5 shooters...wtf is that... give me my diamonds, ntg, and trade goods back.

I think this is meant to be scaled with where you are in medals. If you're playing in the bigger leagues you get better rewards. There have not been good rewards for going up the medals to date - maybe this is it?

You can get atomic age troops in the highest league, but good luck getting 5-stars up there with the missile silo now. By adding more worthless troops that clutter the useful choices, and with the addition of the missile silo, they have removed most of the incentive to go up in leagues. Before last update, I applauded the changes that rewarded staying in higher leagues, but we're taking a step backwards now.

Those are the in game currency, convertible to anything, the alternatives are NOT an improvement. I was already disappointed every time I got a mercenary contract or trade good shipment before, now the odds of getting crowns just dropped drastically. Less than half of the time since the update so far.

I'll trade all the other junk back to you for crowns, where did you hide that option again?

I for one HATE the new video and boat rewards. I doubt I'll like the victory chest changes any more and foresee myself dropping leagues very rapidly soon.

To be clear what I want from videos is crowns.

What I want from the boat is diamonds, other trade goods occasionally.

What I want from the victory chest is oil. If I cannot get that gold or food is an okay secondary "prize".

What I NEVER want from any of these are recruits, blessings, or tactics.

Yeah, you'd be hard pressed to find any player that would choose a recruit or blessing as a reward when there are other options. Recruits and blessing can be purchased at any time for reasonable costs and time, so these are 99% useless options.

I like troop cards, even low levels. And especially more things to choose from is better.

But at the same time I also agree with all other arguments You guys pointed out so solutions are very simple. Either:
1. They should give us more choices, like 5 not 3.
2. They should give us a possibility of a reward change - free/for 10 crowns.
So things that people already wrote about in other threads.
