Viewing Alliance War Bases

When World Wars originally started we were able to view our alliance members war bases from the war screen, even prior to a war commencing. Obviously this was useful especially with lower bases which hadn't joined their walls, were protecting resources etc etc. But for the past however long all we get is the message "There was anerror retrieving target player data." Players war bases cannot be seen until war begins, which is too late to advise changes be made. Also any changes made during war preparation day are not effective until after that war session has finished
