hey,

Some players, recently, had the option to give their e-mail/phone number in order to get an exclusive VIP information

Can we get some more info on that?

thanks TinSoldier

Don't do it.
Phone number? Why on earth would they need your phone number? l doubt they're going to make personal calls to 1000's of people around the world.

Well, I send phone and mail, waiting now what will happen. As it is regulated by data protection rules anyway there is not much possible.

The literal only reason to ask for this is to sell your info to spammers. It’s the result of a BHG team brainstorming session on how to bleed the turnip even harder than before.

L O L at the shill post above this, yeah I mean why would a corporation do anything that isn’t in our best interests?

unbelievable. When you hire an army of shills to try and put lipstick on the pig, it helps if English is their first language, but then of course they cost more.

You call anyone that ever says anything positive or neutral "a shill" ... with this attitude why do you even play or read the forums? Guess what... real users can call out positive things or have neutral opinions as not all thoughts must be negative.

I just had to sign in and post my agreement with SomeRandomPlayer. Yes,there're times I fume at the devs and cs but I'll always give credit where credit is due. Some folks are just toxic haters and I normally avoid them like the plague in real life.

Literally cackling right now, lol so hard.

at least put some effort into looking like different people.

remember the “where credit is due” part of your sentence refers to the devs selling your info to spammers. Yes, let’s give them credit for the constant cash grabbery. 5* victory in the battle to monetize every part of what was a fun game in 2016.

edit: I honestly don’t think Domas or the other two obvious shills actually play the game at any real level. To be clear, by “shill” I mean they are paid independent contractors, probably somewhere in SE Asia, tasked with creating the impression of positive feedback. There is no way a player from 2016 would say the cardboard corporate bs that these two are: “I just had to reg a forums account to defend the devs selling my personal info” no way an independent human who knows what’s up makes that decision.

pretty sad. R I P

Same can be said about you, GWKdog; as all you do is post angry comments (as if BHG stole your partner in a previous life). It's clear you're a shill for Clash of Clans to spend all day posting negative forum feedback here. It's so obvious. I mean, so clearly true, right? Because an angry keyboard warrior such as myself said so!

But then again, you assume two similarly looking usernames must be the same person so what's the point. We aren't; instead it appears we're two people tired of the constant negative and unproductive commentary.

That said, yes, every company figures out why to handle PR and goodwill, including some posing as users in forums and social media. I think BHG does it incorrectly (e.g., should have given top 500 or so folks the Rosetta Stone legendary instead of simply deleting the Group leaderboard last event as their fix to the crash) but so it goes. Also the ninja TT is useless; stop giving those out as rewards for crashed attacks and such!

But if this VIP thing (btw, terrible name... should have used the likes of "Game Ambassadors" or "Beta Tester") is real (e.g., asks for community feedback by real users that know how to play the game) then that's a great step that many have begged for. I truly hope it's real and genuine. Also, without hope what do we have? Nothing. Don't lose hope :)

Fact is, many love the game and hope it continues, but realistically it's going to require community effort to keep it going.

Why should I be hopeful when the devs ignore everything we say and the game has become frustrating and laggy beyond belief

Because companies are made up of humans, and humans come and go. Humans, especially management, make decisions for various reasons. The hope is new humans make new decisions, or rather, keep in mind the communities' VI... err, Game Ambassadors, thoughts.

I get what you're saying but you're hopeful about a company that has constantly ignored our requests and ignored our protests AND continues to add new content to a broken foundation.
You are the most forgiving person I've met and that might not be a bad thing but it is a little naive if I'm being honest. If you send your car in for a service to fix the steering but they don't, instead charge you for a new coat of paint, will you be happy?
I love this game too but being ignored and disrespected is damaging in a relationship.

Some players who filled out the VIP form got an email. I filled out the form but never got the email. Probably because I don’t spend enough to qualify as a VIP I’m guessing?
so Nexon are offering 10 extra workers and reduced build times for $50USD/month if you subscribe to the VIP programme.
meanwhile hackers have maxed museums, eternal Vickers and unlimited speed ups. Good job Best Korea

wrathchild_78 I can't upload photos at the moment but yes, in discord and Line groups players who received the email reply are being offered 10 extra workers for $50/m on subscription and reduced upgrade times included. Seems not everyone is worthy of the VIP offer LMAO

That seems counterintuitive if true. It sounds like the folks being offered VIP are the old reliables who max out every new thing within hours anyway. Why forego hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars every few months for $50 a month? I suppose it depends on how much upgrade times are reduced.
