Yup, very obvious another nerf is coming- and it's been obvious for a very long time because it's such a typical pattern. My army is still diverse; I don't do spam raids. I do carry some raiders (six) at every raid and drop typically 3-6 depending on what I'm doing (ie, clearing a base or looting resources). I'm able to maintain a steady enough flow of resources to upgrade a little at a time at a very slow pace with little regard for aging up. I used to be much more aggressive in raiding, having a heck of a lot more fun- but with nerfs and AI issues I have had to slow down substantially because the game became extremely frustrating and not much fun. However, at this rate I see little chance of being able to raid the necessary resources for higher age upgrades, won't spend any money on the game in it's current state (bugs, glitches, AI problems etc..), and will likely grow too bored to continue playing at some point. So, the issues have effectively slowed down my game progression, with the consequence of slowly eating away at my interest. As for defence- I use good base designs and try to maximize my use of wonders, so I am able to defend effectively. I watch my replays when I am seriously attacked and make adjustments as necessary. I typically won't lose more than 1/2 of each resource, if that, and when I do my defenses typically overwhelm invaders. When people get loot off me they usually bring a lot for it, and they deserve every penny they get. Good base design is key- doesn't matter to me if I'm spammed by raiders, they still won't wipe my base and I won't be bothered by the loot they get. Bottom line really is that nerfing units isn't the answer to making people happy- fixing the functionality of units is preferred so that they work efficiently as intended. If my units all functioned properly I could raid much more effectively, gather more resources, and maintain a more satisfactory level of play. (Btw, how do I create paragraphs? Hitting enter doesn't work and a big blob of writing is annoying).
