Compared to other units raiders are op. But mostly the other units are too weak. Their going to nerf raiders because thats easy. No question about it. After the nerf raiders their going to step back to see what happens next. Their going to find the combat is still not the combined armes their looking for. There will be one more nerf. But the average player will have lost patience with a combat system that makes u want to pull ur hair out with frustration. Raiders are the last line of defense between being able to raid satisfactorily and being at the mercy of the overall weakness of the battle units at our disposal. If they were smart they would fix the unit balance across the board before they bring raiders back in line with a nerf.My base design is far from perfect (maybe I need to take some lessons from Redgar), but even if attacked by a full army of HC, cannons, SC, heroes, the whole lot, I never get taken for more than 25-50% percent of my resources and usually get a good laugh. But if I'm spammed by raiders I'm rarely laughing, despite the fact that all my storages are in separate compartments I usually lose 50-75% of resources to raider attacks. I'm against nerfs in general and I don't think one is warranted here. I will say this, it takes around 30-40 mins to retrain a full army (HC, Cannons, SC, etc.) without training blessing, it ONLY takes 15mins to retrain a raider army that is often more effective and has about the same life expectancy.
