Trying to figure out how many crowns would be needed to purchase $2,380,344,000 Gold...

A Mountain of Crowns (14,000) cost $100.00 USD.

So how many mountain of crowns ($100) would need to be purchased to spend 2.3 Billion in gold for maxed walls...

120 Level 13 Walls = 2,380,344,000 Gold

Mountain of Crowns = 14,000 Crowns @ $100

(N) gold = 1 Crown

(N) Crowns = 2,380,344,000 gold

(N) Crowns ÷ 14,000 (Mountain of Crowns) = (X) Crowns

(X) × $100 (Mountain of Crowns Cost) = how much real money it would cost to have maxed walls...

So how much gold = 1 Crown...

No Title

hmmm if i full my markets it's about 2,700 gold per crown, so rough 7k real money for max wall, anyway it's pretty expensive walls of you ask me. so the big question is why haven't all the people at BHG retired yet, i see dozens of maxed walled bases every day... that must mean they are swimming in a vault of gold. no wonder they don't listen to us in the forums, they're too busy counting all that money.

Gold (and crowns) are also generated in game, why is it assumed all walls are built with only purchased gold/crowns?

Yes we known this but you can only earn a max of 3 crowns for defense which is like 9 crowns a day... (yes you can earn them through achievements too) you can gather your gold at the mines, caravans, hunting, raiding, and league bonuses... but that too is small when we are talking 2 BILLION gold. I am interested in how much real money I would need to spend to save time on raiding...

I am extremely stingy with my crowns, and I've only amassed about 2.5k since about April. So no where close to enough to purchase maxed walls.

I'm also curious about this. I've tried to calculate the conversion before, but it changes depending on how much gold you have on hand.

Why dont u count gates? The total for max walls is 2,539,000,000 gold

1 crown = 2536 gold

So u need 1 million crowns = $7151

I haven't got maxed markets yet so this is roughly based on markets holding 6.5m gold

To fill 6.5m markets is around 2500 crowns.
I'm going to round up the 2.3bn gold for walls to 2.5bn to take into account gates (which are roughly 6 more walls or 5%)

So 2.5bn divided by 6.m = 384 gold top ups from the Store @ 2500 crowns each, so you need 960,000 crowns.

960,000 crowns at 14,000 a pack = 69 packs @£79.99 a piece comes to £5519.31 or about $8k as db says

It's not a 1:1 ratio, it's a scaling number. I know that for sure. Let me see if the exact info is publish-able :)

OK, it's not a 1:1, it is an algorithmic thing. I can't publish it, but I won't prevent y'all from mathing.

1 crown = 2536 gold

$7151 to buy max walls

It would be great if before alliance wars u guys ban the players who didnt pay big $(hence cheated) and ban the players who use

2x lvl30 generals, all blessings, 5 tactics, full mercenaries, zeppelin every battle.

Im sure some players crown all thar crap but there is just non stop this stuff at the top and their all crowning? Please check it out

No, more like "we're not publishing that, but you can do the math if you'd like to" - math is fun, honestly. No PhD required!

The main problem here that it is not a static model. Like 1 crown= x gold or max walls= x $ (or £ or € or whatever) You'd have to calculate the levels the markets are at when gold is purchased with the crowns and subtract the amount of gold in the markets to determine how many crowns it would cost during that age. The markets have a maximum for each age and so do the walls so the purchase amount would be different for each age and you would have to add the cost of the markets and the town centers in with the cost of the walls as you need to upgrade both in order to upgrade the walls. This math problem is a lot harder than we all think it is... Let's just all agree it's a lot of frighin money. More than any of us have. And the peeps with the maxed out walls are all cheaters because there hasn't been enough time to accumulate that much gold and upgrade to max levels on everything without purchasing an enormous amount crowns to do it.

Markets have nothing to do with it. And going up in age doesnt change cost or crown to upgrade cost

The walls cost x amount of gold which costs x amount of crowns. Its not complicated

Your markets have to be upgraded to hold enough gold to upgrade the one wall piece though. And the secret formula for the cost of gold is based on the amount of gold you buy, which is a function of your total gold capacity - 10%, 50%, or Fill.
