Galleons, Ships and Harbors
Hi, i would like to share my idea about having galleons, harbors and stuffs in the game . This idea is NOT 100% mine, a player - Smallville posted a thread about this matter . And i really liked it . And i think i will post some of my ideas about this matter
But first of all, I would really like to see this in the game
Firstly, the harbor
It's where you get your boats built, your resources exported, your nation's income and so on . If we want War Ships, we will need a Harbor to build them .
We have already have a Dock in the game, so the Harbor will be the rest around thr Dock .
- The harbor starts as a bunch of nothing that needs fixing ( similar to Alliance Gate . )
+ Repairing cost : 40000 gold
- Of course, the harbor will come with special features once we have fixed it
+ Boats Crafting : Similar to army training, you will be able to build boats to serve war and stuffs here .
+ Upgrade Harbor : Unlocks more boats and of course make the harbor looks better . There are 4 levels :
1 - The first repair : Can only train Scout ships, and economic ships . Can train 3 ships max
2 - Upgradable in MA : Unlock Galleons, Transport Ships and can train 4 ships max .
3 - GA : Provide Upgrades for ships and can train 5 ships
max
4 - IA : Provide Upgrades for Ships and can train 8 ships max
Secondly, the Galleon!
Our warships, our conquerors of the sea! Warships are destructive weapons that can be built at the Harbor . Each Nations have a specific warship design, of course . But that would depend on the Devs .
So, here are the features of warships
- There are more than 1 kind of warships
+ Scout Ships : Light, fast ships that fire weak shots but in return fire very quickly and has far range . These ships are excellent at taking down enemy troops and weak buildings without getting destroyed . Upgrades :
- 0 times with Lvl 1 Harbor
- 1 Upgrades with lvl 2 harbor
- 2 upgrades with lvl 3 Harbor
- 1 Upgrades with lvl 4 Harbor
+ Galleons: Heavy Warships that created history . With heavy damage, High HP, though fire slowly and have shorter range than Scout Ships, these ships tear the enemy's base apart . But can be easily destroyed by Enemy's Defending Galleons . Upgrades
- Not avalaible with lvl 1 Harbor
- 0 Upgrades with lvl 2 Harbor
- 2 Upgrades w/ lvl 3 Harbor
- 2 Upgrades w/ lvl 4 Harbor
+ Fishing/Trading Ships : Also called Economic Ships . These ships don't take any Ships Space at the harbor, but still have their limits . These ships produce food and gold like Caravans and Farms . But, they can also export your trade goods with other Nations, in return, you get Crowns or Trade Goods . These ships can be upgraded up to the same levels as Caravans/Farms .
+ Transporters : Your land Army is losing ? Don't worry, the transporter is here . It brings surprises to your enemies by carrying troops and deploying them on to the battlefield . these ships provide extra Troop Space . This ship can carry some of your ground troops, and deploy them when needed . Transporters is delayed while deploying troops, so they can be easily taken down . And if they are, your remaining un-deployed troops will all die . Transporters can only carry ground troops . Transporters are treated as mini Barracks . You can train troops there and take them to battle . Upgrades :
- 0 Upgrades at lvl 1 Harbor . Has 5 Troop Space
- 1 Upgrades at Lvl 2 Harbor . Has 10 Troop Space
- 1 Upgrades at Lvl 3 Harbor . Has 15 Troop Space
- 2 Upgrades at Lvl 4 Harbor . Has 20-30 Troop Space . The Second Upgrade allows the Transporter to carry Airplanes and Tanks as well, turning it into a mobile Carrier .
Notes : You can only take 2-3 carriers to battle (3 a IA)
+ Defending Galleon : We have Galleons ready for war ? Then we must also have those ready to figt for their homeland . These Galleons are built to take down invading Galleons . Strong againts enemy's Attacking Galleons . However, they cannot join in Land Combat and cannot out range Scout Ships . These Galleons' levels depend on your Galleons' Upgrades . Unlike Garrisons or Stables . These ships must be built like normal ones . And if they are destroyed, they can be fixed with less gold cost . There are limit for the number of defending galleons
- CA : 0 Galleons
- MA : 2 Galleons
- GA : 2 Galleons
- EA : 3 Galleons
- IA : 4 Galleons
Building The Galleons
The types of galleons may vary, as well as their weapons . There are multiple types of Galleons for you to build, depending on your needs, just like the Army . But no matter what type of Galleon, they are always armed with cannons
+ The Onslaught Galleon : Armed with Mortars and heavy Cannons, this Galleon shred the enemy's defending army into pieces . Mortars ( later turn into cannons, or turrets ) have long range, splash damage, making this galleon perfect for killing enemy troops . This Galleon fires slowly and has low HP .
+ The Destroyer Galleon : Armed with cannons and Ballista, this Galleon destroys enemy's building and calvary from afar . But this Galleon has short range and can be easily taken down due to having low HP
+ The Foritifed Galleon : Armed with Archers and Cannons only, later Turrets( at the IA ) . This Galleon shoot multiple arrows with small damage . But, they have huge amount of HP, making them harder to be destroyed .
Each type of Galleon improves as you upgrade
Battle the Galleons . How ?
So, the question is : Do i have any kind of Naval Defense . The answer is Yes ! Besides Defending Galleons, we have some extra defenders to fight enemy's galleons .
+ The Naval Cannons : Classic Cannons with high range and damage against Galleons . But have no effect in Land Battle . Can be built right on the Harbor, taking less land space
+ The Naval Mines : Work exactly like traps, but they are Underwater ! One explosion and Enemy's ships will go down to the bottom of the ocean . Can create a Chain Reaction ( Many Mines will explode at once ) if put near together, dealing massive damage . Once again, useless against ground & Air troops .
That's all for now guys . If you like my idea, thumbs up . And hope the Devs think of making this happen
Still, Credit for the guy who first had this idea about Naval stuffs : Smallville
