Like queues at the Post Office, it's all the other lines that appear better.

Stay at 200 until max IA army, can maximise raiding without dealing with medals.

As Eddie says, you may as well stay there for the time being. If you notice the amount of loot you're getting isn't great you can always increase the medal range a bit and should be OK up to about 800 medals before being attacked by trickier players, depending on how good your base is of course. How much loot are you generally seeing in battles?

Things have changed since when i was down at 200. I suspect once u get training blessing its time to start moving up in medals for good league bonus. I dont know what the sweet spot for non maxed out armies

I've been looting in between 500-900. Average 100k food and 100k gold, but always try for the 200k plus range.

Have I been farming too high?

Not if it's working for you. 100 - 300K is good. I'm around 750 - 900 medals and it's working just fine in GA. It depends on age and defenses. I'll probably be able to move higher in the EA. If there's not much loot I'll come back down.

Loot at 1800+ isn't much better, not like the old days (a few weeks ago) when you could come across 750k gold.

Maybe there is a graveyard of abandoned maxed out GP/EA/IA bases at around 1500 medals - the combination of raids & failed attacks means they slowly drift into a medal range, because that's where I was looting 1m+ on occasions. Higher medals than 1600 just means continually active medal players, under 1200 are active resource looters.

Or the game has been tweaked and 1m+ bases don't exist anymore.

I'm level 65 and have been looting in the 1000 medal range. I'm getting an average of 230432 gold and 167238 food (per raid) over the last day. Trying to build that next house. Worried that I'm too attractive a target and might lose 2/3 of what I've looted in the last session on one good raid.

I've never been too low on medals and 800-1200 was fine for me where I had plenty of rich bases

Do you keep a spreadsheet with all your loot? :) That's very precise numbers you're working with here!

This should take into account the net loot. Not just how much you can steal from people but also how much you are likely to lose once you log off if you can't spend it all. Soon you'll have to start saving for big upgrades.

At 200 medals, you will get attacked repeatedly when you are offline. And because no one cares about medals that low, you will get victories and no peace treaties. And someone else will be able to attack you. Assuming you have a lot on offer, you could get attacked 10-15 times a night and lose all your resources.

At around 800 medals, people start to care about medals so if you leave your town center unprotected and protect your resource buildings with wall compartments (one in each separate compartment), you're likely to get a defeat from someone sniping your TC, giving you a 8h peace treaty.

If you plan your playing sessions right, you can drop medals, loot and then move up the medal ladder before you log off to protect your loot (exposed TC + wall compartments for resources). Below 1000 medals, you'll move up and down by 10 or 20 medals at a time, so it's quite easy to change your medal range in a short period of time.

Personally, I don't think it's optimal to stay at one unique medal range for those reasons.

Another added bonus at 200 is u can crown farm at low medals. All the defense victories add up
