Where's group leaderboard?

TinSoldier what happened to group leaderboard? I bought the event pass in hopes I could get both legendary artifacts, but since group disappeared, and if we're to believe what cs told some players, that it's gone for good, I feel ripped off. Imagine during Tour de France, let's say team Moviestar pays their fees, just to find out moments later that any rewards for the team have been cancelled, rewards for individual players are still there, but nothing for teams. I have some concerns about legality of such move.

Please bring group leaderboard back or simply give Rosetta Stone and troop cards at least to those who bought the event pass.

Wholeheartedly agree with this. The Rosetta Stone is part of the reason I bought the pass in the first place; I’m just going to request a refund, if possible, if that isn’t available anymore. GPA players just aren’t going to be able to compete with SA no-lifers. That’s unquestionable. But the Group Leaderboards made everyone happy and gave every single player who wanted to participate a playing field on which they had a fighting chance. This is just a petty level of greed. The RS combined with the rewards was a really good prie and it undoubtedly wasn’t just me who purchased the Pass largely because of that.

It’s just stupid, scummy, and means I’m just not going to buy passes if this is what they’re doing now. What a joke. They should really be being crucified for changing something like this after the event started.

Tin Soldier’s sticky about the “New events” clearly states that they have both a group and global leaderboard. In addition the in-game event tabs show “leaderboards” with an s, plural not singular.

Like others I realise that the odds of there being less than 100 cheats,whales,more advanced players and no-life addicts above me are so small as to rule out my chance of ever getting the global Legendary. With that in mind I thought I at least had a slim chance of the group legendary but with the event pass bonus (2xp for each battle star) carrying such an advantage I was tricked into buying it for clearly displayed rewards that were subsequently slyly removed.

The game is so full of cheats I guess the developers just decided to join in.

sponge - I partially agree with your post. I would like to suggest a better, and more fair solution, would be to get rid of Global Leaderboard, and create Group Leaderboards segregated by Ages. This would eliminate any unfairness due to available targets and variances in Age abilities and bonuses. Give Awards of 10 Legendary Artifacts to the each Age Group, and eliminate giving 100 Legendary Artifacts to the Global Leaderboard...just get rid of the Global Leaderboard all together.

This is a bug; the Group leaderboard tab caused the game to crash. I highly doubt there's a master "okay, let's show them a group leaderboard and remove it after we take their money!!!" master plan here. Come on, folks, at least complain about real things and not make complaints based on conspiracy-laden assumptions.

The real issue is the lack of communication; at least I've not seen any. A simple "Group leaderboard caused the game to crash, we're looking into it." in the very least with ideally the likes of "If not solved by day 5, we plan to do action X and Y to remedy the situation." too.

SomeRandomPlayer there were players that were told by cs that group leaderboard has been removed. I don't have time to look for it now, but you can go through some recent posts and I'm sure you'll find it. And agree, lack of communication is unacceptable, but I guess it's SOP at Nexon.

Sadly, the Group Leaderboards will not be active during the Spartan event. They should return with the next event!

Just go through Apple Store, tell them what Nexon did, offered an event pass for purchase and then ripped the group leaderboards away which is then a pure money making scheme from Nexon as then the event pass that was purchased does not do what it originally intended to do.

FWIW, if I was in charge of BHG public relations and goodwill, I'd add Rosetta Stone to everyone that reaches a certain number of overall XP. I don't know what a typical earned XP value will be (as Goals add an unknown overall amount to us); but my gut says around the top 1000 folks in the global leaderboard should get it. It's not that great of a legendary so being liberal with it should be an easy sell to management. It requires a decent amount of work to make the top 1000; no doubt about it; so we'd have to earn it.

What do others think? Give the top 1000 the Rosetta Stone as a quick fix to this missing group leaderboard bug? I vote yes.

@SomeRandom Player - I like your idea, but I'd go further, I think the Leonidas Bust should go to those in the top 250. Then from 251 - 1000, give the Rosetta Stone. My guess is that the Leaderboard top 100 is filled once again with Space Aged players. Being able to attack Atomic is just too much of an advantage to allow other Ages to compete. I would also encourage them to show/fix the issue with not being able to see the Name/Age of the players in the top 100.

It feels like time is the only limiting factor this event. AA-CW-SA can all attack in multiplayer with no stoppage time using a combination Heavy Tanks and ideally Transport too (but all Fighters are fine too if Transport aren't mostly upgraded). It does not feel SA has a distinct advantage. Sure SA can roll Atomic bases easier than a typical CW can, and can probably medal down less, but it does not feel like a huge advantage to me. I'm CW fwiw. I had dreams of being top 100 but gave up due to the time commitment; it's gonna take (in the very least) 60 hours of multiplayer play to be top 100... that's too much.

While Tin Soldier's “disappointment” might be a sufficient reaction to the failure of a free event, the events are no longer in this category.
Paying customers have,for whatever reason, been deprived of something which was clearly advertised as being part of the deal that they have paid for.

Those who bought the pass should be adequately compensated for the missing event components and in future it must be made clear which parts of an event are and aren’t available before it starts.

I suggest giving it to everyone who bought the Pass prior to the Group Leaderboards’ removal, but eh. They *definitely* need to do something about this to recompensate players if they want people to keep buying the EPs.
