Well, when I first came here, the forum was populated by people full of virtual rage because there were SEVERE bugs on the app, like being attacked while online, star-scoring attacks not resulting on protective shields, and some other hell-sent nuissances. These problems are almost gone (well, at least they do not affect everyone on a massive basis), but in their place the subsequent updates brought some balance features that where not welcome at all, I will give you a little tour about what made the forums a no-man's zone:
- Heavy Cavalry was nearly useless, so they gave a buff to them;
- But the buff was insane. People steamrolled bases with them, so they lessened their attack power. They still remained quite usable;
- Then, they rolled the update that added some stuffy stuffs to Enlightmen Age and some Industrial Age (wich is currently out of reach to fair players) stuff encoded inside. This drove players on a rage because a lot of cheaters used hacks to roll planes and tanks on legit players who had only musketeers and horsies to counter that;
- This update also broken the unit's IA beyond belief, like cavalry trying to find some right angle to start a melee or the units stop attacking towers to face attackers, wich lead to a unnecessary stupid death;
- Now, they nerfed cavalry attack once more and brought some umbelievable surreal (un)balances, like oil wells having more HP than Castles.
Adding salt to the wound, until recently, the posture of the developers about public feedback was of pure silence beyond the official posts that states things that are the exact opposite of the feedback. It's like they stated indirectly that "this is our game, our vision, and our job. We dont care about what you want and we will do as we please".
That's why the veterans around here think that optimistic folks around here talking like things ingame are good and well are fake accounts.
