Why wasn't chat fixed in the recent update?

Nexon, chat is STILL broken and to make matters worse our alliance is now seeing lag and network server issues during war attacks. Your recent update fixed a few things but created more bugs. The chat thing is getting old also. What are you waiting for? Fix these things and please stop moving in slow motion.

There are so many crazy awful things about what they've done to this game. I also cant believe that a 2yr mature game cannot even make a chat function work. Its been off and on broken (more broken than not) for like 6 months.

Good question about how chat.works. The hotfix is designed to fix errors that occur on the phone level, while chat is handled on the server. We are still working on chat fixes and upgrades and will be able to announce new updates to chat as they become available.

Many signs point to a strategy of soaking the whales for whatever they'll pay then quietly sunsetting the game. No need to spend much time fixing the basics when there are shiny new troop cards and bazooka towers to sell.

The fact that you can get a stronghold in bronze age speaks volumes. "Boy, it sure is tough for your 25 loincloth-wearing rock slingers to get past all this splash damage! By the way, here's an atomic tank army for sale."

NEXON probably use the local schools to do the coding for them, Bunch of kids on Raspberry pi's... May explain the problems ???

DomiNationsVigiles - the chat is worse than ever.. and it is really hurting both the social aspect of the game and war performance.
Its so bad at the moment that it is killing the two things that keep most players playing...

i cant believe that still after over a month Nexon haven't fixed it

I would like to see this fixed ASAP... been having problems on and off with chat for at least the last month.

It's making communication difficult and alliance chat seems practically dead because of it. Temp fix of closing and reloading the game is garbage...

you don't have to reload the app; on IOS at least you can just double tap 'home' (i use the software one to save my button) to bring up the app chooser, then re-select the game.

Do NOT get me started on this chat issue. Challenges need to be somewhere else than the chat window. As soon as the devs flipped the switch on the servers for challenges, chat has been screwed. No real time chat coming through & issues posting donation requests. Having any war plan requires constant rebooting by all allies. The game is not that awesome to deal with that headache. Scrap the challenges in the chat feed ASAP. I like the idea of challenges but not the way its comprimised chat. Geez supposedly war replays are coming...promises, promises... I can not imagine the havoc that update will be

My clan has had to revert to moving our chat off-game (we use Line), we were just completely unable to communicate via in-game chat In-game chat is now only new starters (who usually leave as we probably seem quiet) and troop requests.

If I were to choose between this and the lack of war battle replays I'd be really struggling to decide... both are critical issues that you would expect from a beta release, not a "mature & stable" game.
