Winning without spending crowns

Is this possible?

Here I am, level 74 Japanese Gunpowder age. I can hardly get 1,2mil gold OR food together without getting attacked by a lv 100+ LET ALONE get 3.2mil for enlightement age or cannon upgrade.

So, my question to you guys is: is it possible to get 3 million gold OR food together without staying online for 24Hours or spend bucks on this game?

Yes it is. Since Gunpowder Age I have been able to get 1-6 million gold/food per day with attacking. Yes when I log off I get smashed for the maximum but as long as you dont lose troops you can do a lot of attacks in a row. Granted I stay online as long as possible when im close to my bigger goals.

Very possible. Just like Joe says. On another note, if you don't care about your medal count (since it doesn't really play a role as of now), you could always shed a couple hundred to make things a bit easier. You will get attacked by advanced ages but not nearly as much. Plus the raiding is a bit easier.

It's more than possible. It's absolutely certain if you try hard enough. Make sure you pick the right targets and don't be afraid to lose some medals while you farm. I did all my farming for enlightenment age in 2 days.

with spamming dragoon raiders in gunpowder(and packing 2 wall sappers), I can hit around 1.5m food/hr, if I don't waste any time. It is a bit slower with gold, but still feasable.
