World War Matchmaking Changes

Beginning today, we are making additional improvements that will enhance the overall matchmaking experience.
These changes include corrections to recent matchmaking issues with wait times, and a continuation of improvements such as correcting player war ranking.

We will be monitoring these updates to the matchmaking process closely as we roll them out. As we make these changes, we would like to welcome your feedback.

They are! They will take effect when you begin matching for your next war. You will also see a popup about this change when you log in!

Ok, we still haven't had a match. Alliances that haven't had a match in 2 weeks, please post if you get a match. I'm not aware of any yet.

The issue with you fixing the system to equilize the wars. Is there is no problem with the system itself. The problem lie entirely with the guilds that choose to fight that way. I sincerely beleive the only means of fixing the system too equilize, is to go to a single attack war system. Then all attacks count. As oppose to the current 2 attacks where 1/2 your player can be high agers and the other 1/2 don't matter. Bad matches ups are going to happen. Are some people going to lose that 1 attack and be mad about it; yes. It natural.

1st Dynasty still hasn't matched, with various size wars tried. I would think it would be nearly an instant match due to the large number of similar alliances looking for war at the same time due to the matchmaking issues. So it appears whatever was changed, didn't improve things at all.

I left my alliance not because of match making because it would either cost me money weekly to fight wars or it would reduce my raid time as i concentrate more on pulling enough resources to build a full attack and waiting the needed amount of time to wait for them to be ready.

Brewing Tactics, army, and having enough resources to constantly have max Troop tactics is just way to much to even want to bother

I can raid more resources in less time than any war will bring in do to the insane amount of cost and the time it takes to brew all the necessary components.

Now if that was your intention then good for you.. However that's a P2P / P2W model that turns off most gamer's. I've spent 100's but just cannot support the P2P/P2W war system and will not. At least as a mindless pretty graphic sandbox build game and history buff stuff makes this game still palletable

We (Dutch Warlords) still haven't gotten a match. Are you sure this so called fix is implemeted? 2 weeks ago we had to wait for a war sometimes, but in 1 or 2 hours max we would have hit an opponent. Ever since you implemented the fix for atomic max buildings the search is broken.

Dutch Warlords and 1st Dynasty have very similar weights, and have matched each other numerous times in the past. However, we still haven't matched each other after this "fix", despite searching the same numbers. It's obviously still broken. I'm not aware of a single alliance that has matched as a result of this "fix". All those who have had trouble in the last 2 weeks continue to be war-less. With so many similar alliances searching, the effects of any fix should have resulted in nearly instant matches for many teams. It did not.

This is really getting ridiculous...nothing has been fixed. We are still without a war!

Thank you for the news here and in the game. I don't understand why this has moved from the Bugs section, though. It's confusing to find posts. This seems like "News and Announcements" but it is about a "Bug and Known Issue".
