Hello everyone and @TinSoldier
It would be nice if each nations have more unique troops in advance age (default : only 1 unique troop since we've chosen nation in classical age so in advance age we can get 2 unique troops)..
for example : in German industrial age, ordinary tank evolve into panzer tank (historically, panzer tanks exist in world war)..
Please add 1 more unique troop for each nations..
Sorry i'm not english native, hopefully you can understand what i mean..
Thank you..

I will pass the idea along to the team. Were you thinking a 2nd unique troop for the Barracks, or for the new buildings you acquire, such as the Factory and the Airstrip?

The only issue I see with this is that a couple of the nations are already way too OP but I do like idea.

Hello TinSoldier,
The 2nd unique troop can be in the barracks, factory, and the airstrip.. i leave the decision to the team

Seems hard to balance... and will probably reduce the chances of having new nations having to consider this as well.

The airstrip is a perfect choice. Each nation has it's unique design and markings on planes in different ages. Japanese Zero, Messersschmitt, Eurofighter, Harrier Jet, etc.
We could even have the F22 or the MiG, if we had some ''other'' nations! ;)

TinSoldier I've been talking about this for a long time, soooooo glad it's being discussed! This could be a great fix to soft nerf the British since they are the simple and clear choice for winning WW for top alliances, and buff the other nations for the cold war age. The other nations need a buff therefore, they could get a very powerful unique unit, whereas the British one can be underwhelming. They could also introduce an additional incentive for the nation's, along with the bonuses they currently get. Also, possibly after cold war age, perhaps Romans can become something else? It doesn't make sense to have Romans in the late 1900s. It's just not historically accurate (even though Rome and it's history are totally awesome).

Lol the problem is, the fighter mk1-3 is the British spitfire, the mk3-6 is the german me262, strike fighter is the f86 sabre...they're all designed after different nations already haha

Great idea! With second unique unit nations in war could be more balanced then now. British are most certainly op with rifles. I can suggest passive abilities for generals with AOE aura, that will boost troops around them?

Great idea! That should bring more balance between nations in war, and opportunity to boost factory units, which are quite useless until unlock bazookas.

I think this would be a great idea and would help balance the game. The overpowered nations like British could get a weaker 2nd troop, while underpowered ones like Japan could get a stronger one. Since airstrip and factory become available around the same time, maybe have some nations get a unique factory troop while others a unique air troop. Maybe something along these lines:

- British: +1 range to machine guns (they'd still have lower range than towers but would stack much better with tanks)
- Chinese: APCs carry more troops
- French: stronger Commando unit (inspired by French Resistance during WW2)
- Germans: stronger heavy tanks or maybe higher damage from bombers/paratroopers (since bombing/paratrooping was a common tactic during WW2)
- Greeks: ???
- Japanese: airplanes that travel faster (Kamikaze)
- Koreans: airplanes that train faster (inspired by Asian Tiger economic expansion in 2nd half of 20th century)
- Romans: ???

The only problem I see is that some of these troops aren't available in Industrial Age.

Oh, Germans with 2nd unique unit as heavy "king tiger" tank... it would be so nice to see on battlefield 😁😁

Well, if they do add a new unique troop for later ages, it should be units that start at the same age in the same producer to balance the nations. But as I said, it'll make it harder to come up with new nations, since they'll need one as well.

Maybe for units that aren't available until Atomic (APC), give a weaker version of that unit in earlier ages to the nation that uses it as unique unit.

Thank you for the support..
anyway i do not totally agree with you especially 2nd unique troop of british nation (+1range of machine guns) cause british nation is already OP with +1 range of range infantry.. i suggest this nation : +10% damage of machine guns, that's just fair enough..

The problem with archers is that with +1 range they outrange everything except mortar towers. A +1 machine gun will not outrange other troops, it will simply die less because it stays behind the 3-range tank instead of in front of it. Machine guns already have high enough DPS against defenders (10% damage may be of no benefit at all because they're not meant to take on buildings and high HP troops). In any case, these are simply suggestions, the main idea of my post was to concentrate on factory + air troops and balance out weak nations (Japan) with a stronger 2nd unit.

We don't need additional nations anymore, just focus to expand the existing nations with more benefits and features of each nations..
