40% increase in production

Well it seems that Nexon has somewhat listened to its player base and increased production by 40% permanently. I know there are many players who don't care for upgraded farms, caravans and such but this is definitely a move in the right direction. While the investment versus return ratio is still off by much, at least now it's not absolutely worthless. Since I'm a max out every age kinda player this fits into my long terms plans as even the increased HP on each gold drop and farm can make a difference in war when defending and having the extra income no matter how small an increase adds up. Kudos Nexon.

Thanks TinSoldier for relaying the post I made earlier about farms and caravans to the dev team. Glad to see them respond to the feedback and I appreciate your attentiveness on the forums. The breakeven time for going from a level 13 -> 14 farm has gone from about 351 days to 252 days by my calculations (depends on technology bonuses too though so slightly different for everyone). 100 days off the breakeven time is definitely a welcome change but still it is a very long time to reap the rewards of a farm upgrade. Are you able to say whether the new economic university leader will have some sort of bonuses towards time and resource reduction on the prices of farms and caravans? I don't think the best course of action to reduce the 251 day breakeven time is to further buff farms and caravans, I think a smarter approach would be to tie beneficial things towards production building upgrades in this new university leader. I know it was mentioned that the oil refinery capacity will have research under the new leader, are you able to comment on the extent of the other researches available under this leader tree?

Definitely a step in the right direction from Nexon. Now things are acceptable/adequate.
And thanks to you nucleo , for bringing this to the attention of Tinsoldier, I don't know what we would've done without you! :D

Now I just wish they capped the workers needed to upgrade farms and caravans to 2 workers, and cut the upgrade time down by about 25%. Then we'd be good.

It doesn't make any difference
I always able to collect enough resource for upgrade, but the upgrade time is the biggest issue.

Still not worth upgrading farms or caravans. It's going in the right direction, but at the moment they are trying to fix the issue with a screwdriver, when really we need a sledge hammer.....

I still wont upgrade mine even if they cap it at 2 workers going into GA. 25% decrease in time wont persuade me either. They need to go to something similar to what i posted in another thread, basically 3 days max upgrade time at space age and all just 1 worker each.

it's not the production rate what prevents me from upgrading, it's the worker and time bottlenecking in this game
yet i find it better cuz i'll get more loot from MP so a good step in making the game more playable without having to spend all day long to collect resources
