They could fix: the matchmaking, the request donations bug, sandbagging, and a lot of others bugs. They could invest in better servers. They could give a new general for those who have an AA fort. They could buff the japanese nation... but they decided to ignore the community feedbacks and to "broke" the best part of the game. By removing the fun from war, they will loose a lot of money in the medium/long term. What's next? In the next update they will come out with: "our data showed that more users are playing as british than any other nation, so now british range go down from 5 to 3 to help to balance the game" or maybe they will nerf shooters, howies and HT. I wonder how they will make the game even worst in the updates to come.

-Ps: The noob who came out with the bazooka tower stats probably got a promotion.

Its December 2015 Clash of Clans update all over again. The update who made millions quit along with a significant share of youtubers. Lol... They never learn, the gread is greater than anything else. Well, i guess it's time for us to search a new game. I see myself 1 and a half year later asking on a forum : Any good game recommendations?

I thought it was funny/ironic they posted it in the bugs & known issues forum. The most forward thinking, anticipatory act they've done in a while.

This is my first post on the Forum ... ever... this tactics issue has drawn me out of lurk mode.

I am very disappointed to see that the tactics change still features in the update notes. Surely there has been sufficient feedback on here and on FB (where I write extensive comments on this issue) for this to be reconsidered. The poll in another thread has a clear majority in favour of it being a really bad idea.

Making tactics worth 2 slots will make WW so much less fun. Taking on a player significantly stronger than yourself will now be impossible rather than challenging and exciting.

Where is the issue in combat being weighted in favour of the attackers? That is how we get our resources! hanging onto resources for a big upgrade can be challenging but it encourages more frequent log-ons... with less tactics (especially with the obscene train times) more troops will die and there will be longer idle periods between raids. Where is the fun in that!? Coz I sure as hell am not going to buy buy crowns to rush re-training times.

I could rant for hours on this topic!!

This is what gets me too. The "player" is almost always the "attacker". I spend 95+% of my time on this game attacking, very little rearranging my base or watching defenses. So anything that causes my troops to die faster means I spend less time playing, and the tactic changes do exactly that. Defenses are instantly reset and ready to go again - an offense takes an hour after a total wipe
