5 x Field Howitzer to defend city? it is possible (and player is "British") cheat?

It is possible to have 5 x Field Howitzer in your city ???
It is a new cheat ?

Request troops, be attacked by a noob which makes you howitzers pop out of your town center without destroying them, when you reconnect make a new request. Do it again over and over.
This works fine at a medal range around 850 for me. Last time I had 8 howitzers and other small troops.

some how i have noticed that when someone gives me a cannon type troop that it only counts as 8 troops spaces and thus i get 2 shooters with my 2 cannon types even though thats 20 and i only have 18 spaces. It happens randomly. I havent been able to reproduce it on purpose to report to the devs.

I think this was a "fix" for the previous way. If I have done research that makes my cannons/howies only take 9 spaces, and you have 9 spots in your alliance gate, I couldn't donate one to you if you haven't also done the research. So now, I give you one of my researched 9-spot howies, and if you have done the research too, your town says "hey, I should decrement the space that takes by one!" so it changes it from 9 to 8 after receiving it.

But it doesnt happen all the time. Ive had that research for a long time, and im pretty sure out of all the others that have donated to me have also had it, especially the advanced aged players.

Agreed. I notice it primarily when donating to TCs in wars, in part because of the in game chat problems. When friends "request allies" the bar in chat can be 0/0, 0/30, 0/14.... and sometimes when I click it says already full even though it appears empty, etc.

It's easier for me to see the number change in the war donations: donate a howie, see it say 9 then 8 slots filled. Are you seeing it with regular alliance requests (vs war TC)?

In any case, it seems to me that this was in one of the long lists of fixes/changes in one of the announcements. Can't find it right now - I'm having issues searching the forum and I couldn't quickly find it in the announcements section.

I only see it happen to me for alliance requests. I dont donate to war bases because i only have artillery and we want howitzer at minimum in those.
