Acropolis Info

I'm considering switching the Hanging Gardens with the Acropolis but i would like to know the facts first.

- Radius of Influence: Aligned with the acropolis how many garrisons or stable it can cover?
- Health Boost: The troops get the boost only within the radius or permanently wherever they go? Couldn't find that answer anywhere, no one seems to know.
- Is it worth it?

Health is increased by 15%, the defenders spawn 20% faster and the radius is about that of the catapult. I think it's a wonder worth having and placed in the middle it's currently covering all my garrisons and stables and I'm the Gunpowder Age.

AoE is a 7 square radius. Centralized placement, I currently have 3 garrisons, 3 stables and coliseum in range. Defence has to be within AoE for boosts to be in effect, but the troops (whose base within range) retain the effect. It is a wonder that is worth it for me- very effective.

Are u saying if the garrison building is within range then the troops retains the hp boost even when they leave the AOE? My best guess is that when city loads for battle acropolis effect is applied to the buildings. And any troops that spawn will have the hp buff regardless of where they go. Even when acropolis is destroyed these buffs last. But thats just a best guess. I dont think anyone can say conclusively. Its not easy seeing if the 15%hp buff is permanent, only in aoe or whatnot

Defender Spawn Time: -20%
Selecting the Acropolis shows its area of effect and highlights the Garrisons and Stables under its area of effect with a green glow.
The Colosseum also receives the bonus from Acropolis even though it does not get highlighted.
The Acropolis' buff stays in effect even after being destroyed.

I read that but it doesn't answer my or Dbuk's question about the permanent boost outside the AOE

British mass-archers will be happy :) I think acropolis is the best first wonder, but I wouldn't built the base around it unless you have complete defensive wonders combo. It's better to sacrifice some of it range in favor of better base built and more sections

I've got it on the outside and it covers 3 stables and 5 garrisons in 3 boxes. And most of them cover the TC.

CS has confirmed that as long as eligible defensive building is in range of Acropolis then all troops produced from those structures will retain the hp bonus whether Acropolis is intact or not and even if those troops venture further than acro AoE
