Are you agree that Sabetour (commando) is the most useless unit?

It takes 15 troop space and will be killed by a single trap. It is very slow despite of ninjas and can't run from enemy infantry. I believe 15 space can be filled by many better choices. If someone knows a way for using saboteur please let me know otherwise maybe we should ask developers to change the unit stats, my recommendation is increasing his moving speed or reducing the troop space.

Its absolute garbage. And is not even more useless with the introduction of paratroopers.

They need to drop the population cost to around 10 and then we might see it used. At 15 population no one will touch it.

There's research in the Global Age library to reduce the troop space to 12. Still wouldn't be tempted to use one even at that level.

Yeah even at 12 its still too much. 10 would be the most I would waste on this thing, but it would probably need to be closer to 7-8 for me to consider it seriously.

I never even bothered to upgrade mine because I never used it, 5 troop space would be efficient for this type of troop.

they should increase move speed, reduce troop space to 10, reduce dmg to take down building in 2-3 hits

They are for reducing total army trainning time. Saboteur has some use against lower base with Gunpowder infantry. EA defending infantry has some range so they can be caught more easily!

If you manage to put a protection on them, it will be great!

I really enjoyed it when it first came out. If you place it exactly right, according to the placement of the enemy's gates, shooty towers and garrisons etc then it could take out at least 4-5 defensive structures very quickly, including those nasty ballista/cannon towers and redoubts, leaving a nice clear path for your other armies. However, if you get it wrong or, as I presume most people have done, there's a spike trap/land mine on the most obvious route, then....

However, as you say, 15 troop space is far too much for a unit which could disappear in seconds. I'd like to include a few in my army make-up, mainly because they can be fun and, sometimes, devastating, but would only do so at about 5 troops space as USA Elite "Global Age" Will said above.

I echo the sentiments here .. they take up too much space .. not worth using oil to upgrade. before the ninja event they might have been a decent troop. even with the research to reduce them to 12 spaces they ninja was more practical at 5
