Hi People, A Question for you... i’m High Lvl Global, almost everything is Maxxed, been Grinding the UNI research, Winter of the ages is coming soon, IS there any point in going Atomic, or Going Straight too CWA... Do you still get Age Rushed Globals available for Killing in CWA ???
any Feedback is Much Appreciated... THANX...

Yes, if you keep your medals low you will still get plenty of rushed globals to attack.

I'd say go up to Atomic.

I'm 228 Atomic and not in a rush to be CWA.

I keep my medal count low so I see a lot of easy Global and Atomic bases with plenty of resources.

this is what you must read....been there...done that!!
I am cwa now level 235 iirc and now I understand how wise decision was to change 2 ages at once.
2 fellow alliance members stayed global and they are now 220+ both. The difference between us is massive and we were at the same level before summer for the ages (5-6 months ago). Do it! Go straight to cwa and unlock all offensive buildings twice! It makes a huge advantage in battle.

I wished I made a push for CWA earlier. The fact that you can still attack rushed GA players as CWA proves that point. The maxed out offensive units eg. HT, APC, RPG, SS fighters is indispensable for war and looting. I have pretty much every defensive building maxed at lv220 AA and there are many CWA players that scrape their faces on my base, but I find it very hard to 5* CWA bases without maxed offense.

check my base....80% is still global. BUT I have maxed almost all offensive buildings and can take advantage of ANY reduction in price for any building.
And I am not an easy target to loot or take 5 stars. Only the ones with HT MK7 can give me a peace treaty but they do not 5 star me.

the only downside is that events will get a lot harder. Nexon believes that a cwa player must do twice the work...

If Rush of the ages wasn't around the corner I'd say stay Global. But, since it is, what wrathchild_78 said.
CWA can still attack globals.

I agree with rushing straight to CWA as soon as you have your AA ofensive maxed. I am sitting on more than 6000 crowns so I can unlock the HT mk7 and supersonic fighters ASAP after the jump that would give me enough firepower to get resources and time to upgrade other stuff if I am correct you need around 14 mil of food to research MBT mk2 that means you need to upgrade mills and markets to almost full CWA level before you start upgrading barrack troops.

If you have the levels, there is no downside to going straight to cold war. Atomic and cold war get the exact same pool of targets, and you are much more powerful as a cold war once you max out your planes and other offense.

Straight to cw of course. Sure you've had a lot of experience destroying silo bases for sitting in global in a long time, no point in moving only to aa. I envy your level.

Just remember, when it comes to getting museum artifacts it's based around what age bases you attack. If you go to CWA and only attack GA bases, you'll be dealing with 10 fragments per 5 star until the end of time.

Also, I believe CWA bases that attack GA only get 50% of the available loot? I heard that somewhere once before.

I'm a pretty strong AA base, but I'm going to continue maxxing things out before jumping up to CWA.

there being a loot penalty for a cwa attacking a global i have tested to be false. but i tested at a relatively high medal range and some people have said the penalty exists at lower medal ranges and i cant say if thats true

That's true. But an AA attacking AA gets 40. If you go to CWA, are you really going to attack many CWA bases to get 40? That's all i meant. When I was GA, I would hit crappy AA bases all day long for 70 and it was awesome.

Anyway, just something to consider.

Attack wise it would better to go towards CWA but depending on strong your attack game is prior, you will find it difficult in CWA. Just the act of getting rss will be harder as well as trying to complete a lot of the events as the numbers are raised up considerably. Even with lower medals, you will still find it hard and doing 2 rushes in a short amount of time will have you bring to raid with only GA level troops. Of course if you're using crowns that's different. I think the first month I found it difficult to adjust and I was AA for a long time. I think it's just your preference but I would say do it but also keeping in mind how much the game changes. You sound like you've already maxed everything in GA so what is there left to do but go up.

there is a loot penalty but it's integrated before you see the numbers ..
