Battles offered with 1 Medals Only!

Hi all, This is my 1st post.
I'm in Gunpowder Age (level 79) with 1787 medals. Since I've crossed 1500/1600 medals, I'm always offered the battles those have total 1 medal only in attack but opponents got battles with 30+ medals each time when they attacked me. Harder opponents are Ok but this is frustrating. Is this a Domination game policy or is there anything I can do (other than wishfully losing my medals) that DomiNations match-making offer me some battles with higher medals??

To keep climbing higher in medals ull have to do it one medal at a time. Its doable many have

Since u already climbed high at 1700-1800 medals, I think the possibility was, you always loaded with GP or EA who are lower medals than you, maybe you can keep click next until you found a good medals opponent. But for a max GP vs a max EA, it's not easy but potentially can get 2-3 stars, depends on the EA layout. But a max EA still able to raid IA.

A GP is easier to climb medals compare to IA. Would you carry on to climb to Kingdom ( 2000 medals ) and still maintain at GP age?

If every game is 1 medal, I would suggest you to get to EA asap and the firepower is stronger and more troops. But, in this case, you'll easily raped by IA based while you enter EA with GP defensive.

Thx The Prince for the suggestions. I've spent some times in this forum looking for solution!! and found some few others have this same issue also.
The Next Battle button doesn't work on this situation. If I continuously press the Next Battle Button for 300 times, I still get 1/-39 Battle 99% times. Only 2/3 battle will be 2/-38 or 3/-37.
Supplement with Eddie F1, the 0/-40 Battle can be brought with the next update. Players will not get medals for win, only a Cheers msg can be given to them..

I reached Dynasty a couple nights ago. Just as dbukalski said, one medal at a time. Similar to those wall posts

I mostly do my medal hunting on weekends, spend my weekdays just getting my lost medals back trying to keep even. It's all very doable.

Do you enjoy the game? If so then keep chippin away at it. I've been playing for 8 months or so, at least an hour a day sometimes more. The other night for example; I spent about 4 hours (non-stop) raiding to get me to Dynasty. 73 medals; 68 battles. All but one raid rewarded me with only a single medal.

Never press the 'Next Battle' button. Take out every player the game throws at you. Sometimes you'll find a great white buffalo that's worth 15/20+ medals and boy you best hope you brought everything you can to the table.

I've climbed from Silver League 3 to Empire League 3 in 2/3 weeks (got there today), so it is doable, even if it can be a grind at times. Feels good to reach my target now.

Sometimes, I wait for a match with the TC on the outside just to get a quick win before moving on.

But what about 0/-40 Battle?! This should be introduced with the next update. And there must be an option to take the villagers in the attacks. They will sing when your army fight for 0/1 medal...
