better alternative to scouting notice and blocking access

The "you are being scouted, try again soon" notice is frustrating. There have been times when I encounter it for several minutes in a row, which takes frustration to maddening levels.

There is a better way. If I may suggest...

Instead of "scouting-- wait" notice, allow the player to log in. The loot susceptible to attack during scouting period could be put into some holding space, like an escrow, when scouting period begins-- and be unusable by the player until scouting period (or subsequent attack) is complete. If the player is logged in when the funds become available again, the notice banner used for alliance troop receipt could inform the player that his held funds have been freed up (or lost).

Please, please implement something like this. The most maddening thing about playing this excellent game is when you can't.

Thanks!

I wholeheartedly agree that this is a frustrating situation.

An alternative solution would be to fix what I suspect might be a bug. Sometimes the scouting message pops up and says "please wait X seconds and hopefully they will move on". I'd be ok with it if I was actually able to log in at the end of that short countdown, but most of the time that message just gives way to many additional minutes of "you are being scouted" with no countdown timer. I think the possible bug (or missing feature) is the lack of an automatic login at the end of the countdown.

I think fixing the countdown would be a simpler solution to implement, but I'm completely on board with whatever solution allows me to actually log in when I want to!

I see you are being scouted regularly and its a pain, some players have claimed it can happen for over 15 minutes at a stretch, which must be very galling.
