Cancelling Research

Can anyone tell me, does cancelling research at the library refund resources (in the same way cancelling currently training troops at the barracks does)?

I stupidly set an upgrade to improve me Gatling guns instead of increasing my aircraft health by 10%.... whoops

You would get a full refund for cancelling a Library research if you cancel it within a short period of time(which is almost instantly) after starting it, otherwise you would only get a refund of 50% of the cost of the research.

It works the same way as cancelling an upgrade of a building, Blacksmith/Armoury research and University research.

I cancelled mine the other day to take advantage of cheap mortar upgrades. I got a 50% refund

even a 50% refund is worth it to get your priorities going. players do it to take advantage of events with huge savings like 50% reduction or oil savings events

i was getting ready to start upgrading my lirbrary and was like, hmm i need to get on and see what the weekend discount is going to be. 50% off airstrip, that saves me 60k oil. looks like ill be starting that tomorrow instead. I actually have workers that can hunt/gather for me. first time in nearly 12 days.
